A thread of publically available information and suppositions in regard to Rt Hon Sir Keir Starmer QC without any specific allegation attached:
Answering 73 questions in exchange for £20k is reasonable
The thing that continues to do my nut in is that Jack Lopresti a former Tory MP and one time Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party is currently a member of the neo-nazi Azov Battalion and that got about 3 articles written on it and that was seemingly the end of it

messaging my wife a link containing proof of her husband cheating on her from an anonymous instagram account and then when she clicks on it texting her to let her know she failed the family phishing test and she has to retake my cybersecurity course
I think this is correct but ultimately if they're not going for a snap do they have a majority for what they want to do? Which is ultimately why 2017 happened.
Replying to @robfordmancs
People impressed by clever comms like Gogglebox appearances need to remember structural things like the existence of Scotland & Wales, where Labour have collapsed, overall polling which is still below 2024 levels and the lessons of 2017 election campaign (stuff can change fast)

I’d be a little more sympathetic to these cloying rejections of “violence” from liberals if they dropped comparable 300 word statements decrying it every time an Israeli murders two Palestinians.
But they don’t, of course. That would mean 10 statements a day. And there’s the rub
I’m grieving the deaths of the two Israeli soldiers killed in Hebron today, and praying for the full & speedy recovery of those who were injured.
I’ve spoken out loudly this week against Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, which imposes violence on a daily basis, and I will continue to do so. But violence is not the path to ending it — or to achieving safety, freedom, and peace for both Palestinians and Israelis.
And neither is collective punishment or ethnic cleansing of an entire neighborhood, or punishing millions of people for the criminal act of two, which Netanyahu has promised to enact in response.
I’ve seen a lot this week and I’ll have more to say about in the coming days (I’m on my way home shortly). There is a path to ending this excruciating cycle of violence. It starts by insisting that every life is sacred, that everyone is created in God’s image.
For now: Shabbat Shalom, to everyone who believes in the hard work of making peace & justice a reality, for everyone.
Every life is sacred, war criminals *and* their victims

Anyone gonna ask Burnham about this because it seems the Sheffield government has not collapsed? So are the Labour councillors ignoring him?
Put this another way- Burnham is only 10% ahead of Badenoch or Davey in appealing to potential green/left voters. Not nothing but not particularly overwhelming all considered.
🧵Tracking latest forced choice PM heads to heads
🌹Burnham wins handily against all alternatives, closest but still clear against Badenoch, overwhelmingly against Polanski.
🌳Badenoch beats the other 4 leaders.
➡️Farage only wins against Polanski
🌍Polanski now loses all of the head to heads
Lowe above Farage/Polanski but caveat of much lower name recognition.

29 students is actually fewer than the number who spoke to the Guardian about Nigel Farage's anti-semitism specifically.
This like the "weve established what you are- now we're haggling on price" joke- should we respect graves and the dead or not? The victorians were digging these lot of and racking up lines of corpse dust. Imo that was a bit much
"Heat island effect" shows how wasteful this debate is- literally free heating for norfolk if there was a proper strategy but no
A massive data centre is currently seeking planning permission in Keswick, Norfolk. Whilst it’s outside of Norwich South, hundreds of my constituents have reached out to me expressing their opposition to the proposal. I share their concerns.
Stacking a 20-metre building across 32 acres is far too big for a rural entrance to the city, right on the edge of Marston Marsh. The constant noise, heat, and lighting threaten protected wildlife areas and nearby marshlands.
I also agree with my South Norfolk colleague Ben Goldsborough MP about the potential heat island effect. A site this large risks raising local temperatures, causing damage that cannot be fixed or offset, so it mustn't be allowed to go ahead.
Data centres are part of modern life. But that doesn’t mean developers should get a free hand. Any major proposal needs plain, transparent answers on water use, power demand, true company ownership, and realistic claims about future impacts.
Planning authorities must properly consider solid grounds for refusal, from water shortages to the impact on local school children, and push for direct community investment in jobs and skills. I urge South Norfolk Council to do so here.
This is really good framework of engagement- switching between the doorstepping and explainer- and should be copied.

We’ve reached the “We need Jonesism, but without Owen Jones” stage of reassuring the public that their leaders and media outlets have not been 100% onboard with crimes against humanity and working relentlessly to suppress, discredit and crack down upon opposition
