Lowering the Medicare eligibility age to 50 would guarantee healthcare to millions of more Americans at a critical age where earlier detection and treatment can make a big difference for patient outcomes. Let’s pass this bill!

For people who upset about boomers SS: Approximately $1.1–1.3 trillion per year is spent on Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, and SNAP (food stamps) for people under age 62 (combined federal + state where applicable).

Consider this: Roughly 26 million boomers still paying into SS. Boomers also pay the majority of property taxes which fund police, schools, fire departments, etc...

The Constitution protects the right to hold beliefs (religious or secular). It does not give the government a free hand to require that those beliefs be taught as orthodoxy, affirmed by citizens, or imposed on children through compulsory schooling without significant limits.

Today, Elon Musk, a trillionaire, pays the same amount into Social Security as someone making $184,500. If we end that absurdity and lift the cap on taxable income, we can make Social Security solvent for 75 years and expand benefits by $2,400. My Social Security bill does that.

I was reading a comment of someone claiming SS is a handout and people are leaching off the system. Then a few seconds later they complained they were not going to get it when they got old. 😂
