Most trainers can give you a program. That’s the easy part. The harder part is knowing why you’re doing it, whether it’s working for you, and what to change when your body responds differently than expected. That’s what I teach in the HIT List. You’ll learn how to exercise as effectively, safely, and efficiently as possible; how to design your workouts and diet around your goals; and how to adjust them based on your individual response. And when you’re not sure what to change, you can ask me directly. I’ve been teaching and studying high intensity training professionally for more than 30 years, have multiple master-level training certifications, and have instructed tens of thousands of HIT workouts. The HIT List gives you access to that experience for your own training. Stop guessing about your training. Join the HIT List → Baye.com/HIT-List/

11 days post contest, and still getting leaner while slowly increasing calories (more carbs!) I would love to do one more contest, but I have to focus on growing for next year. Need to bring my arms, delts, and lats up to be proportional with my thighs and calves.

Same as last year, I’ll be documenting my training, diet, and more for competition in 2027, including posting videos of full modern HIT workouts with commentary and Q&A in Baye.com/HIT-List

Time for more carbs! 80 grams oatmeal, 100 grams blueberries, 40 grams honey. This is how you fuel high intensity workouts!

VO2max is highly overrated. If you want to maximize your functional ability, health, and longevity, and look your best, prioritize building muscle and getting and staying relatively lean.
Genetically predicted VO2max (peak exercise capacity) showed no association with longevity in Mendelian randomization. Body fat percentage showed a major longevity effect. So, being lean is a far more important factor than VO2max for longevity. This agrees with what we know from animal studies: calorie restriction and/or obesity prevention increases lifespan. Exercise does not. Don't get me wrong: I'm a huge proponent of exercise for improving health and quality of life. But beware of longevity influencers who tell you that more and more exercise, and elite levels of VO2max, will increase lifespan. The fact is, going from being sedentary to doing almost any amount of exercise provides almost all of the health benefits of exercise. Observational studies of VO2max and longevity/mortality are highly confounded, because healthy people exercise, unhealthy people don't. doi.org/10.1210/clinem/dgae3…

Contrary to popular belief, you do not have to work out very long or often to build a stronger, more muscular physique, or do hours of "cardio" weekly for fat loss. And, if you train properly it does not take many years for a beginner to dramatically transform your physique. If you just enjoy spending a lot of time in the gym and/or care more about socializing than results, then keep scrolling, this is not for you. However, if you want far better results from your workouts with far less time in the gym and lower risk of acute and overuse injuries, join Baye.com/HIT-List/ and read and watch all the articles and videos in the Start Here section, including my HIT quick start guide. That material alone is worth 10x the monthly membership cost, and it's not even 10% of the total content.

Absolutely! And, if you love someone, you should eat healthy and exercise to become the best version of yourself for them, too.
If you don’t encourage your man to eat healthy and exercise than you don’t love him enough.

It’s been over a week since my last contest and I’m still getting leaner. Maybe I’ll do one more this year?

What are you doing to improve yourself today? What are you doing to help and encourage others to improve themselves?

I don't unpack in a hotel or an Airbnb anymore until Claude Code finishes one sweep. Bags stay by the door. The laptop opens first. One prompt, 5 steps, read only the whole way: Wi-Fi: maps every device on the network and flags the camera brands and the ports cameras use to stream video Bluetooth: listens for AirTag, Tile and SmartTag beacons that keep showing up after you leave the room Your phone: runs Amnesty's open source spyware toolkit against known stalkerware indicators Lenses: walks you through a flashlight sweep of everything that faces the bed and the shower Report: one ranked table with the next move for each item, from asking for another room to calling the police It never logs into anything, never touches a device that isn't yours, and tells you straight what it can't see. I'd rather give it 10 minutes than spend the whole trip wondering. The full sweep is below, copy paste ↓

From the NPC Badger State Championships, last Saturday. Nothing motivates you to stick to your diet like knowing you'll be standing on stage in posing trunks in front of hundreds of people being judged on your appearance 😁
