Now that we have hit the midpoint of the football season, let's look at the CUSA landscape:
* The obvious favorites are Liberty and Jax State. Liberty has a slightly easier path to the championship game with WKU being the toughest remaining game. Jax State has WKU and a resurgent Delaware left.
* WKU has played well the past couple of games, but they have a gauntlet of Delaware, Jax State, and Liberty left. Win them all, and they host the championship game.
* The Minicuccis sit at 2 Minicucci-less losses. If they win out, there is a good chance they are playing in the championship game, but there is little chance they host it.
* NMSU and MTSU each have one loss, but MTSU has already lost the tiebreaker to Jax State. NMSU plays Jax State next, and with a loss, they are essentially eliminated. Both still have Liberty. To make matters worse, they play each other in the last game. Two losses while losing tiebreakers isn't going to cut it.
* FIU and MSU are both still in it. Technically. Their chances of reaching the championship are less than cars flying. (Oh wait)
* KSU and SHSU lament UTEP leaving the conference.
I was just looking at the FPI SOS rankings. Without looking, can anyone tell me who has the highest SOS out of the G6?
