#MiamiBeach confusion this am at #BeachwalkMB. Police stopped me for riding e-bike at 53rd St. They were courteous, got a verbal warning. But while going south, faced real safety issues like the vendor's truck blocking the path. Why only enforce e-bike ban?
There is no intention to be negative, #BeachwalkMB is terrific, but the community who are actively using the path needs to see #realsolutions for real safety issues- oversized trucks, low tree branches, unsupervised construction works, unmarked hotel exits, etc.
I guess regular scooters are allowed on the #BeachwalkMB, since there is a ban on e-vehicles 😥 Awkward encounter yesterday pm at 42nd St. What to do in those situations? Perhaps the rental company could be fined for not briefing their customers on what's allowed in #MiamiBeach.

#BeachwalkMB alert: Police enforcing again meaningless e-ban this AM at 53rd St. However, more pressing safety concerns remain unaddressed, such as low-hanging tree branches (less than 5 feet), hazardous construction, large puddles, etc...
#BeachwalkMB may have some issues, but #wellness and #fitness are definitely not among them 😍 #yoga #bootcamps popping up along the path like mushrooms, with most recently #fontainebleaumiamibeach and some other hotels joining the club.

#BeachwalkMB alert: Block between 40th St and 41st Street temporarily closed. @MiamiBeachFire department is removing the boat washed this am ashore. Be careful if you are taking a detour via Collins - as usual, traffic chaos and dangerous for bikers.
1) Interesting situation this am at the #BeachwalkMB. @MiamiBeachPD has enforced the 'NO Electric' rule on the path for a couple of days. On this occasion, they stopped the guy with the electric bike he got from the hotel he is staying at (multiple hotels are giving bikes).
7) In many situations, they are riding very fast, without slowing down, even if they have people with kids in front of them, just zooming in between as quickly as possible.
Just imagine that Lamborghini & Ferrari & BMW are forbidden on roads because those cars can go super fast.
