One reason why the anti-feminist movement does not succeed is that every generation eventually realises that women’s rights are human rights.

I am deeply honoured to be elected to the International Court of Justice.
I am grateful for the support and faith states have put in me to serve the @CIJ_ICJ. I look forward to serving the Court with independence and integrity alongside colleagues elected today.

Eritrea is a good example of this. Very poor but also has one of the best state capacities in Africa and has total control over its territory.

When Nigeria finally gets better in our lifetime we will remember the treatment from our fellow Africans ridicule of our situations. Our parents basically supported your parents but this is all we get in our trying times. We’ll never forget. I for one, will never forget

If nothing else, President Trump's sudden announcement today that he wants to end the $3.8 billion in US funding to Israel's military by the end of this year -- which surprised Israel's defense establishment -- clearly indicates how far US politics has shifted in just a few years on the issue of US policy toward Israel. Not long ago, such an announcement by a US president was unthinkable and would have provoked a bipartisan political uproar. No longer. Now most Democrats and a growing number of Republicans oppose the continuation of unconditional US military aid to Israel. While the US will most likely continue to subsidize the Israeli military (in less transparent ways), the US-Israel relationship will not be the same again. This reflects the dramatic change in US public opinion regarding Israel.

I don't think the UK or any other Western country structure/package university education as a means of citizenship for International Students. The ideal is to get a foreign education and go back and develop your country.

This whole ILR discussion is why I will die on the hill that Nigeria NEEDS to work.

The countries you are fleeing to are becoming more hostile, hateful and openly racist everyday.
There’s no reason for anyone to be so condescending to black people like this, talmabout low skilled workers.

This is scary. One reason why sex workers have pimps is because of situations like this; unfortunately, the pimps end up becoming the problems they were meant to solve. Also, they keep on referring to her as an "ashawo" which I find funny. Pot calling kettle black.
