Over-apologising at work is rarely about manners. It's often stress talking.
Swap the "sorry" for "thank you" and see how it feels. And if the weight is getting heavier, reach out. To a colleague, a friend, or us at Bembala.

To all the new mothers navigating the complex emotions of postpartum life: it is okay if you don't feel "perfectly happy" right away. Motherhood brings immense changes, and feeling sad or overwhelmed after childbirth can happen. If you are experiencing exhaustion, quiet tears, or anxiety, please know that you are not failing and you are not alone. Many mothers experience these exact same feelings. The weight you are carrying does not have to be permanent. Postnatal depression is treatable, and with the right care, recovery is possible with support. Please remember that stepping forward and asking for help is a sign of strength, not a weakness. You give so much to your baby; you deserve to be nurtured, too. Support is always here for you.
If you need a safe, non-judgmental space to talk, call Tele MANAS at 14416. Our toll-free number is available 24/7 to listen and support you through this journey.

World Suicide Prevention Day | 10.09.2026
Let’s change the narrative on suicide through compassionate conversations, meaningful connections, and accessible support. Together, we can strengthen hope.

Suicide prevention begins with breaking the silence and fostering compassionate, non-judgmental conversations around mental health. 🎗️
The theme for World Suicide Prevention Day, "Changing the Narrative on Suicide," calls on us to move away from a culture of silence, stigma, and shame, and toward one of openness, empathy, and active support.
Changing the narrative means shifting how we view, discuss, and respond to emotional distress:
From Stigma to Openness: Replacing secrecy with open, supportive dialogues where individuals feel safe disclosing feelings of despair without fear of judgment or social rejection.
From Silence to Action: Recognizing warning signs such as social withdrawal, expressing feelings of being a burden, extreme mood shifts, or hopelessness and stepping in with active support.
From Isolation to Connection: Reminding anyone in distress that seeking help is a courageous step, and that accessible, professional care is always available.
Every conversation, no matter how small, has the power to build a supportive bridge for someone navigating their darkest moments.
Let's create a culture where asking for help is recognized as a vital strength.
If you or someone you know is struggling with distressing thoughts or emotional overwhelm, you do not have to carry it alone.

Reaching out for help is a profound act of courage, but we know it isn't always easy to take that first step.
Sometimes, the heaviest moments are the ones we carry in silence, feeling like support is too far away or too difficult to find. But accessible, compassionate care is closer than you might think.
In this episode of ManoSandesh, Dr. Naveen Kumar C (Professor and Head, Community Psychiatry Services, NIMHANS) sheds light on Tele MANAS; a vital service designed to ensure that professional, confidential mental health support is always within reach, no matter who you are or where you live.
If you notice someone you care about growing quiet or withdrawing, simply sharing resources like this can be a gentle, loving way to say, “I’m here for you, and there is a safe space ready to listen whenever you are.”
Watch to learn how help is just a call away.
