TI-99/4A dev update #15: So decided on a title for the TI-99 Zelda-like I'm making a while back. It's called Lord's Light. Used Grok Imagine to come up with a title screen. Will make small tweaks by hand but it got me the aesthetic I was looking for.

Skeleton mob decided to photo-bomb me while I was admiring the altar for the final boss. #Valheim

Took our first step into Morkhalla. These dungeons are deep. The grappling hook is essential here. #Valheim

Crafted the legendary Ashlands sword Dyrnwyn. Taste my fire! #Valheim

We took out the last mini-boss, Lord Reto. This guy is no joke. The Root Fang is a necessity whether you're playing multi or solo so that you can bind him for a bit and get in some melee strikes. Attempting to block or parry will get you killed. #Valheim

I was 10 or 11 when I got this game for my birthday on the NES. Good times.

At last we have arrived in the Deep North! Feels kind of bittersweet though cause I don't want the journey to end. #Valheim

We took out Fader easily. Our 20+ 1-star Asksvin pack was able to knock out about 80% of his health before we had to start fighting him. #Valheim

So in light of the BioWare closure I share with you my copy of Jade Empire. I only recently started collecting OG Xbox games within the past year or so. This one is high on my stack that I have yet to play but I know it's one of their finest.

Just added Power Quest (1998) to my Game Boy collection. This has to be one of the most underrated Game Boy games. The blend of fighting mixed with RPG elements is absolutely fantastic. Anyone else a fan of this one? #RetroGaming

We finally nabbed a 1-star Asksvin for taming. I think we're going to have a little fun with Fader and bring a pack of around 15 1-star Asksvins. #Valheim

Clobbered Bonemass solo. Such an easy fight once you know his 3 attacks. #Valheim

The Swamp expedition was successful. Found one not too far away with a couple crypts. Pulled 138 iron out of the first one. #Valheim

Development of my game for the ZX81/Timex 1000 is underway. Grok still amazes me. I told it this game will be written in Z80 assembly. Never told it to use an assembler. So what does it do? It goes off and writes Python that directly emits machine code. 🤯

Now begins my solo search for The Swamp. This seed has me situated on an inland sea. There are two solid exits. One to the northwest and one to the east by The Elder's location. I think I'll sail up through the northwest and circle east back around. #Valheim

Decided to take down The Elder this time melee only. Attacks are easy to parry just have to watch out for the roots. #Valheim

Wrapped up a lot of copper mining in my solo Valheim run today. Finally consolidating my outposts into my first significant base before I gear up to fight the Elder.

This bone pile in the center of our base is a running joke. This thing grows exponentially now that we're in the Ashlands. #Valheim

I've been wanting to do a space survival game for the ZX81/Timex 1000 for a few years now. So this afternoon I've been working with Kimi on laying out some game design and lore. This project should go faster than my others as there are really only characters and no sprites.
