Every year, JINSA organizes a field trip to Israel for retired U.S. military officials. JINSA hopes that, when these former military officials return from Israel, they will use their credentials and defense industry power to become Israel’s advocates.
The Pro-Israel organization takes credit for Section 219 and shifting Israel into CENTCOM’s domain.
My article in @RStatecraft today.
NEW @BergerPosts : Did you know that the Jewish Institute for National Security of America (JINSA) trains retired US military leaders who go on to work in the US defense industry, to be advocates for Israeli interests, both in their public writing and in their work behind the scenes?

The UAE is literally the reason the RSF has the capacity to commit genocide in Sudan, and now you're arguing that the UAE should basically take control of the UN?
We all know that your intention is for Israel & the UAE to split control of the region between them

Not surprising that this guy doesn't disclose a dime about who his own benefactors are @JimHansonDC
So I went on @piersmorgan's show yesterday. I like his show, but I have declined many previous invitations because I don't think it's a fit for me. I agreed yesterday, hoping the other panelists would be willing to engage in a real debate for at least a few minutes.
Boy, was I overestimating him :)
Hanson immediately starts throwing personal attacks and lies at me, forcing me to interrupt him in an attempt to bring the conversation back to factual matters.
But if someone doesn't have enough dignity and self-respect to avoid embarrassing himself by sinking this low, you can't expect them to respect the rules of debate either.
To Piers' defense, he did step in and made many of the substantive points I planned to make.
Anyways, here's yet another attempt by warmongers to disqualify me through slanderous attacks rather than address the actual substance of my argument.
I would say enjoy, but not sure you will :)
“I think for the Jews out there, sometimes we don’t feel seen. We don’t feel like people can empathize with us, that we are suffering too,” I explain over breakfast in my $14 million Laurel Canyon mansion, describing my meeting with Hollywood executives.
Sacha Baron Cohen says Marvel worried about casting a Jewish actor as the devil Mephisto because it could be perceived as antisemitic.
“It was a wonderful meeting when I was offered it. It was primarily, I think, an almost entirely Black producing and directing team. And they said, ‘We want to offer you Mephisto, but we are aware of the negative association of Jews historically with the devil, and we want to make sure that you’re not insulted by us offering this.’ It was such an amazingly considerate, empathetic thing to say. And I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m good.’
I think for the Jews out there, sometimes we don’t feel seen. We don’t feel like people can empathize with us, that we are suffering too. And so to have this entirely Black producing and directing team be so empathetic was a moment of being seen. It was an amazing experience.”

We @adc are again on the frontlines of the fight against CBP’s abuse of its authority at the border. The agency has been using the border search exception to punish and retaliate against journalists, activists and lawyers who express views contra to the Administrations— as it did in our other two cases on behalf of @MaxBlumenthal and lawyer Jalal Shehadeh—by insisting on accessing the contents of their phones, and seizing those devices when such access was refused. Our new client Muhammad Imam protested, when he explained that as a psychiatric nurse, his phone contained confidential patient data and so he refused to permit CBP access. CBP punitively took his phone and laptop, as well as those belonging to his wife, and revoked his global entry status. We have hearing tomorrow in the eastern district of Virginia, where we will demand an explanation for CBP’s unlawful conduct. I obtained 140 pages of internal State Department emails from when I was being imprisoned and interrogated by the IDF. The correspondence reveals that U.S. officials referred to me as “kidnapped” by the Israeli military while explicitly refusing to consider me "wrongfully detained." Officials were informed of day-long interrogations and made aware of my detention in a notoriously abusive Israeli prison. The emails show no U.S. effort to intervene on my behalf, only a focus on PR and limiting political fallout.

The US has fired more interceptors defending Israel than Israel has since October 2023
According to @stephensemler, the US fired an estimated 609 interceptors to defend Israel against responses to its attacks.
The US used the most expensive interceptors in its arsenal for Israel: 31% were the $31 million SM-3 and 62% were the $12 million THAAD. The US spent $11 billion shooting down missiles for Israel from October 2023 through September 2026.
Israel is an absolute strategic liability.
I remember when @ZaidJilani was attacked for weeks as an antisemite for suggesting that some Americans have dual loyalty to a foreign government. His claim is barely debatable at this point:
University of Michigan freshman Robert Kashan is one of many Jewish Michiganders who are alarmed that Dr. El-Sayed hasn't shown more support for the five nonnegotiables.
To Robert, these aren't crazy demands. They're a simple ask: affirmation of the same dignity, safety, and self-definition every other community receives, and the same legitimacy for Jewish statehood that every other nation receives.
Robert remains hopeful about the next couple of weeks. He is inviting Dr. El-Sayed to engage directly with his concerns and demonstrate with words and conduct that he understands and respects our community’s baseline needs.

Abdul El-Sayed on Iran:
War in Iran. Everybody could have told you this is a dumb idea.
There was really only one person in the whole world who's had a 40-year project to get us to fight this war.
He's a prime minister of another government.
And he finally found the dumbass who was willing to do it.

What did a student "free speech" group do when student journalists at Columbia wrote a dissenting view about the 'Cornell 7' case? Did it facilitate peaceful dialogue where students could express disagreements?
No, it canceled an event about student journalism, condemned the article, and accused the student journalists of promoting rape culture.

JD Vance doubling down on the claim that Amy Acton and her brother are lying about being abused as children.
If he is so sure, then why did the state strip custody? Truly despicable given JD’s own upbringing.
What if his mom was still an addict and did an ad calling JD a liar for his book? Would he be ok with that? Soulless behavior.
Vance: "And now the media and the Democrats in the state of Ohio are obsessed because, guess what? Vivek Ramaswamy had the audacity to run a TV commercial which calls it out like it is and calls Amy Acton a liar."
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Court records and 1978 reports confirm Amy Acton's stepfather was arrested and charged with raping her at age 12; he fled Ohio before trial and was declared a fugitive. Her brother has corroborated the events. Vivek and Vance are siding with abusers over a victim.
