WHY AI STOCKS ARE IMPLODING The current implosion in so many stocks isn’t necessarily because their earnings are terrible. It’s because of how the market is reacting to and interpreting those earnings. All of this reflects a shift in sentiment of the market participants, not some seismic shift in the fundamentals over the last few months. The real question is whether all the stocks that were exploding higher in the spring ($INTC $SNDK $SMH $DRAM) should have been trading at those valuations in the first place. Was sentiment far too euphoric back then? Or is the current sentiment far too bearish? No idea and it’s not my job to know. Only time will tell. My job is to recognize these shifts in sentiment through price action and technicals, and position myself to ride them. Whether the market is being rational or irrational, I want to be on the right side of the move. I’ve been tweeting about this bearish shift in sentiment since July 2nd. July 2nd was when the $DRAM names cracked hard and broke the MA… that was the pivotal day when sentiment shifted and the euphoric trend higher in AI cracked.
DO TECHNICALS PREDICT THE FUTURE AND “FRONTRUN” NEWS? Over the last year or two, I think I’ve done a decent job calling out some pivotal moments in the market with a pretty solid hit rate. The top in BTC, the top in quantum/froth, the DRAM crack, among others. I don’t delete tweets or cherry-pick my calls, and I’m certainly wrong plenty of times and take losses like everyone else. In my course, there’s a full record of my market thoughts, documented in my weekly market prep videos. So what exactly does that mean? And perhaps more importantly, what doesn’t it mean? First, no trader knows what’s going to happen. Everything is probabilistic at best and total noise at worst. But there are specific moments in time when the odds can become meaningfully skewed in one direction. I don’t believe technicals somehow “frontrun” the news. What I believe is that technicals help reveal the prevailing sentiment of the market, and that sentiment is the lens through which new information gets interpreted. Think about it. Why did semis sell off alongside SKHY on its earnings? And why did SKHY respond so poorly to its numbers? To some degree, because sentiment was already rolling over, and that deterioration was showing up in the charts. Why does the market suddenly sell off so aggressively on a hot inflation print? Because investors have grown increasingly concerned about oil prices, persistent inflation, and what those pressures mean for interest rates. Why aren’t we seeing the same enthusiastic responses to positive AI headlines that we saw previously? Because investor sentiment has shifted. People are growing increasingly skeptical of the enormous spending and whether the eventual returns will justify it. As a dumb day trader, it’s impossible for me to fully understand any one of these themes, let alone all of them. But what my experience and expertise in technical analysis allow me to do is read the collective footprints of the market’s largest participants, expressed through price action. Those footprints can reveal changes in positioning, conviction, and risk appetite well before the underlying narrative becomes obvious to everyone else. And that’s what makes technical analysis so powerful to me. Price action can tell you that something is changing, even when you don’t fully understand why it’s changing. It can reveal that buyers are becoming less aggressive, that good news is no longer being rewarded, or that sellers are gaining control. None of those observations guarantees what happens next. But when multiple pieces of evidence begin pointing in the same direction, the odds can become increasingly favorable. I don’t believe technicals predict the future. I believe they provide a window into changing market sentiment, which influences how the market responds to whatever comes next. And if you’re able to recognize those subtle shifts before they become obvious, you can sometimes find moments where the probabilities are meaningfully in your favor.

The most logical explanation for the #BinanceHack. Bravo!
Imagine being CZ for a sec You are an old convicted felon Your wife is not getting any younger You're the most hated person in the industry Your exchange keeps losing market share to this new competitor that came out of nowhere Hyperliquid? The founder is younger, smarter, more handsome You're confident your wife has thought about him more than once, in what manner? who can say And to make it even worse, he used to work for you This "Hyperliquid" competitor keeps gaining marketshare and attention Very good attention 24/7 trading? leader of onchain perps? CFTC license to trade in the United States? What the fuck Trump goes on national TV and starts saying "Hyperliquid" ICE partners up with TradeXYZ? Stanley Druckenmiller creates an X account just to shill Hyperliquid? Elon Musk joins in??? HYPE starts climbing up to $100 什么鬼!!! It's time to do what you do best Liquidate the market again and blame it on a "hack" The root cause? Simple, no one will question it Just say our DevOps engineer left their laptop open in a Luckin Coffee shop Explosive diarrhea from uncooked shrimp wontons Everyone can relate We could risk $6B in a "hack" to make it look real Coordinate with Tether and Circle to freeze most of it User recovery funds handles the rest! Entire market starts nuking and HYPE falls from $97 to $90 CZ and Binance will do everything possible to stop Hyperliquid from growing and shift attention back to them Remember 10/10 happened because Hyperliquid hit open interest all time highs and Aster completely failed

Do NOT click links in emails. Do NOT download attachments. Even from people you trust, they may unknowningly have a virus on their computer.

so... - Coldcard was hacked in july - Liquid was hacked in september - Ledger was hacked in october - Binance, the largest crypto exchange in the world had the biggest hack in history! so many reasons to start paying attention to Tau.
The Binance hack shows that we urgently need better fraud prevention for Wallets. Tau's Wallet enforces your spending rules on-chain, so the node enforces an approved-address rule. An unapproved transfer is blocked even if the front end is compromised.
