Hedgehog hibernation – are we there yet? 🦔🐾
It’s still early for hibernation in Cornwall. One key trigger is consistently cold nights below 5°C, and we’re a long way from that yet!
⚖️ Please don’t weigh garden hedgehogs. Weight alone tells us little about health or readiness.
Signed... let's have some of this money channelled in to UK.
If you feel that £10bn should not have been given to Ukraine ( £35bn so far), please SIGN and SHARE the Petition:

It appears police are encouraging the families of crime victims such as Henry Nowak to deliver politically convenient messages instead of expressing how they feel. Maybe it's time to look back in anger, says Paul Birch. dailysceptic.org/2026/11/03/…

Late call to London 🥱
But it’s got to be done.
I’m glad to have been asked to speak — not just for my son and the other victims of the Nottingham attacks, but to share our experience of the @policeconduct with families like the Nowaks and the wider public.
I’m horrified they’re still rolling out Derrick Campbell as a spokesperson. I’ve been reading their ‘media offensive’ on the train.
Formal complaints have been made about his conduct and communication, and he was removed from post into a different role.
Yet still they use him.
Utterly arrogant and absurd and pretty much sums them up…
It’s time the light was properly shone on their murky world of cover-up, deflection and evasion.
Live on @GMB tomorrow.
Speaking the truth. Candour, transparency, nothing to hide.

However, please dont get a dog for Christmas. Not only do they take to long to pluck, half the poor souls end up in removing shelters by February.
If you want to get a dog, take your child to meet it now, and make propper plans. Remember, Christmas with children can be chaotic, and thats an unfair start on any puppy or dog.

For so long, Bonnie's world was so small. A life spent being used for breeding, never knowing the simple joys that every dog deserves💔
But today, just one week after being rescued, she felt the sand beneath her paws, ran freely along the beach and swam in the ocean for the very first time 🥹❤️
We can't give Bonnie back the years she lost, but we can make sure the rest of her life is filled with moments just like this.
And watching her discover how beautiful life can be is something we'll never forget ❤️

Here's @EmmaforWycombe
She's a @UKLabour MP and the Chief Secretary to The Treasury.
She's NEVER had ANY employment beyond lobbying and politics.
She's the moronic airhead who recently declared that employers aren't working people.
She knows absolutely NOTHING about business, commerce or hard graft.
Her hands are as soft as fairy dust, she's never had dirty finger nails and her arse has been moulded to the shape of whichever "chair" she's been appointed to during her "career" of avoiding doing any actual work.
She has no grasp whatsoever on how this country is kept afloat by it's millions of small businesses and it's business owners.
She's an absolutely clueless waste of space. Totally out of her depth. An empty vessel with no hope of EVER understanding the endeavour, courage, entrepreneurial spirit and downright tenacity of millions of us who run businesses in this pitiful country that people like her have ruined through sheer incompetence, ignorance and indifference for the working people who foolishly voted for them.
She perfectly sums up what's wrong with a system that promotes useless failures to lofty positions of power and encourages them to stamp on the heads of the people who truly care about this country and it's citizens and are prepared to get off their arses to do something about it.

So many otherwise trusted sites are posting deadly misinformation about bonfires, and hedgehogs who may be nesting under them.
PLEASE BE CLEAR:
❌Poking a broom or stick under the bonfire will do nothing - even if you actually hit the hiding hedgehog and hurt her, she will NOT run.
Hedgehogs DO NOT have the flight or fight reflex that humans and other animals have. Their response to threat and danger, and even pain, is to curl into a ball and stay put, and wait for the danger to pass.
❌A hiding hedgehog will NOT hiss, or make any sound at all! They are a prey animal, you are a predator - they will NOT alert a predator to their presence, they will stay silent.
❌Lighting the bonfire from one side will NOT WORK. Their response to danger is to STAY PUT AND CURL INTO A PROTECTIVE BALL. They won't come running out. As the heat comes closer and the smoke fills her lungs, a hiding hedgehog will just curl tighter.
Whoever wrote these 'tips' does not understand the nature of a hedgehog.
THEY DO NOT RUN FROM DANGER.
Broadcasting this total nonsense is spreading a false sense of security and is potentially extremely harmful.
The only safe bonfire is one that is built or moved ON THE DAY IT IS LIT.
Moving a bonfire takes less time than you'd think.
There are lots of late-born baby hedgehogs around right now, who would see a bonfire as a safe place to nest.
Regrets won't turn back the clock.
The 'If only' will haunt you for a lifetime.
If you have to have a bonfire, please make sure you do it right.

Please call your local council and ask them who is responsible for that area.
Then contact them and tell them to put up signs warning the public how dangerous this kind of fly-tipping is, and hiring a truck to remove any that are dumped.
Under the NERC Act it's the duty and legal responsibility of the council to keep wildlife safe.

There’s a small bit of woodland where I walk my dog. Every year, after Halloween, someone dumps 20-30 carved pumpkins in all corners of the wood. They cut them into strips. I’m sure they think they’re ‘helping the wildlife’, but it grieves me to think what it’s doing to the hogs.
