An infinite number of modern Trek writers typing for an infinite amount of time could never come up with something as great and inspiring as Kirk's 'Risk is our Business' speech.

If Bug Hall were a black man with a drug charge, no job, not paying his utility bill, six kids he is asking for public assistance to feed, and no car insurance every single one of you would call him a deadbeat loser but because he’s a white bearded guy with a Vatican flag in his bio you think he’s a dignified off grid patriarch.

Is Russia in a panic over the midterm results or something because this is like the fifth confirmed hoax trying to demonize Ukraine I've seen hit the timeline.
Ukrainian soldiers from the Azov Battalion execute a young woman with her hands tied behind her back, then bury her in a mass grave alongside other fallen soldiers.
This is what American taxpayers are funding.
This is what the European Union is financing and enabling.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This video is staged.
"Ukrainian soldiers" are wearing the wrong uniform
No traces of blood or any bullet after the shot
The same woman was seen in a different debunked video (voxukraine.org/fejk-vijskovi-…)
This video originated from a Russian propaganda Telegram channel

Australia admitted in the High Court that its under-16 social media ban and age verification law burdens political speech. Tasmania argued Parliament shouldn’t need evidence of harm. The Northern Territory said political participation can cost you your privacy.
The ban is supposed to keep kids off social media. It also makes every adult prove their age to post. The kids found a way around it, but the adults are still stuck with it.

Life in Kyiv when the US cuts Ukraine's prepaid air defenses so the Trump family can please their Russian master.
Canada had decades upon decades to prepare for the inevitable event that Boomers would become seniors and the costs that come with it and every single government in power during that time period chose to kick the can down the road instead.
🇨🇦🧓💰📈 : Paul Kershaw, founder of Generation Squeeze, blames Old Age Security payments to seniors, for poverty among Canadian youth.
💳Paul doesn't mention the billions Canada doles out in nonsense foreign aid, for things like gender affirming rice in the Asia Pacific, or gender affirming housing in the Dominican Republic.
🇫🇷 Paul goes on to say students are already striking and forming protest groups here in Canada. Comparing their movement to the one fueling riots in Europe. Specifically France.
🏘️ Paul doesn't blame Mark Carney for borrowing $25 billion in 2025 to rapidly build homes in Canada at a record pace, only to see housing starts plummet.
🧓 Smearing seniors as a burden to young Canadians is evil.
🤷 The government has blown hundreds of billions of dollars, with nothing to show for it but the interest on the debt.
You put your weird Catholic sect over common sense.
You two should spend less time on Genesis 1:28 to justify your lust and more time on 1 Timothy 5:8, Luke 14:28 and especially Proverbs 8:5.
Bug is a good man. His story was an inspiration for me to focus more on my family and live on a farm with my wife and 8 kids. Sometimes unexpected expenses pile up and a father can use a little help getting by. Not surprising to see people criticizing him. I get criticized by people on a daily basis about my kids and way of life. Demons hate big families and hate fathers that put their family above career.

Szanowni,

Google is killing real human recipe bloggers with AI Overviews, all while Google employees are out there selling AI slop recipes books. Just gross 🤮
It's finally done!! My Not So Simple Salads book is officially live on Amazon. Naturally, to celebrate, I had to make a sizzle reel for the launch 🥗
100 pages which contain 19 saldas that I've been making over the years. Complete with gorgeous imagery (thank you AI - your pictures look so much better than the cell phone photos I've been collecting), and a ton of personality.
This project is for all the friends and family who I've been promising to one day make a book for. It may have taken me almost 10 years - but I did it!
All recipes are at notsosimplesalads.com and if you want to check out the books - (hardcover): amazon.com/dp/B0HQMW4CBJ

There was a time where I felt genAi could make you a better artist. I couldn't understand why artists didn't use it for suggestions, or to help with poses, or run art though it to see if it could improve it.
Now I get it. The journey is far more valuable than the destination.

Confirmed --this really happened. They were not authorized to do it and the purpose is unclear.
Let this sink in: ICE agents reportedly blocked the emergency entrance of a Los Angeles hospital for TWO HOURS, forcing ambulances carrying people who needed emergency care to go elsewhere.
This isn’t law enforcement. This is a reckless abuse of power that put innocent people’s lives at risk.
An ambulance entrance is not a political battleground. A hospital emergency room is not an immigration checkpoint.
And federal agents do not get to hold an entire community’s access to emergency medical care hostage.
Imagine being in an ambulance, fighting for your life, only to be diverted because federal agents decided their operation mattered more than emergency access.
Where is the humanity? Where is the accountability? And where is the line that these agents are no longer allowed to cross?
You cannot claim to be protecting America while putting Americans’ lives in danger.
This isn’t making America great. It’s making America cruel. And anyone defending this should be ashamed.
About 80% of the people that were fired in our department this year have been rehired 💀
The AI layoff gamble is backfiring.
Companies that rushed to replace workers with AI are now cleaning up the mess, per The Guardian.
Meta scaled back plans to cut staff and use more AI agents after employees spent growing time cleaning up the agents’ technical and security errors. It’s now rehiring managers.
Microsoft and McKinsey are limiting employee AI use as costs pile up.
Walmart workers say AI scheduling and task tools set impossible standards and generate false alerts.
The payoff isn’t showing up: 90% of executives say AI hasn’t yet boosted productivity at their companies, per an Atlanta Fed working paper.
Yet more than 112,000 US job cuts this year have cited AI, per Challenger, Gray & Christmas.

Right. Curing cancer.
The Cancer:
The differing perceptions of AI are wild. The country just voted against data centers on 40+ provisions nationwide and hates AI. (Plenty of legitimate gripes.) But most of those people are just unaware that AI is finding a new cancer cure or treatment weekly, going through decades of peer reviewed data and uncovering mountains of errors, that its correcting, throughout every academic field. Replacing billions of man hours of drudgery. Closest thing to a “miracle” I’ve ever witnessed. When I talk to people outside of tech/VC, they’re just unaware of all of it.
