Getting paid for your work shouldn't mean asking a platform to release your money. With Pubky Locks, readers pay creators directly in bitcoin and receive their own copy in private Pubky storage. No middleman. No payout schedule. Read how it works: medium.com/pubky/pubky-locks…

We added USDT to Bitkit because it is useful to real people. Sorry, not sorry.
🔥 Bitkit just got a major upgrade. MAJOR. Pay people, not addresses. Send payment requests. Manage subscriptions. Hold and spend USDT alongside bitcoin. All powered by Paykit, right from your self-custodial wallet. Your keys. Your money. More possibilities. Meet the new Bitkit. get.bitkit.to

Paykit is a strict improvement on the current payment protocol paradigm.
Replying to @Synonym_to
Paykit makes people easier to pay than addresses. Find how someone accepts payments through their Pubky identity. Exchange requests and receipts. Your wallet moves the money. Paykit never holds it. And the protocol is open for other wallets and apps to build on.

🚨JUST NOW at @LuganoPlanB We said we'd free the markets. Today, we're taking a real shot at it. Paykit. A heavily upgraded Bitkit Wallet. Pubky Locks. Pubky Marketplace. It all starts with Paykit, an Open Source Payment Coordination Protocol. 🧵

Marketing tells me this actually gets announced tomorrow, after my keynote in Lugano :)
I have been promising a cool payment protocol for 3 or so years. Today we will announce it as finally ready. It isn't a "scaling layer." It doesn't require a fork. It is open and interoperable. It makes building a wallet easier, not harder. It plays nicely with all your other layers. It can do more for Bitcoin than every layer before it. And this is just the beginning.

Humans fix things. Not Bitcoin, not AI, not laws. It sounds stupid and obvious, yet I need to remind you.

The reason you cannot have nice things is government regulations. We work hard to make innovative tech that empowers the public, but whenever we want to legitimately launch a product, we have to choose whether to cripple it, or, become an arm of the state. It is depressing and chilling.
