You might not think it possible, but this area of @WoodlandTrust land buried under agricultural topsoil for over 200 years has been restored to a recovering peat bog! Last year, topsoil was stripped and the area rewetted. One year on, Sphagnum and Cottongrass is recolonising! 🌱
