Ever wondered why N.Africans speak Arabic? Before #Islam languages from west to east were Berber African Romance Punic Coptic Greek Nubian
Who were the conquerors and who were the conquered? A peaceful invasion of #Muslim armies???
Don`t make me laugh.........😂😂😂
"but neither should that stop me from supporting a party that's already prepared to challenge the status quo."
Yes the status quo on being a closet #antisemite; now I can be an open #antisemite.........ooops....anti #Zionist
After quite a bit of thought and deliberation, I've joined @TheGreenParty!
My hesitation has never been about the principles the Greens stand for, but about my belief that real, lasting change must go beyond party politics.
We can't rely solely on short-term election cycles to deliver the fundamental transformation our world needs.
I believe the real power for change lies with people. In building collective civic power. Demonstrating what's possible and creating the public demand and political mandate for a better future.
Politics should respond to that demand, enabling change rather than determining the limits of what's possible.
But here's the thing... the Greens are already calling for so much of the change we desperately need.
I've been increasingly encouraged by @ZackPolanski and the Greens' willingness to challenge the political consensus on Gaza, climate change, inequality and the need to fundamentally rethink our economy.
At a time when so much of politics is driven by short-term electoral calculations, vested interests and political convenience, that matters more than ever.
My conviction that lasting change must be built from the ground up hasn't changed, but neither should that stop me from supporting a party that's already prepared to challenge the status quo.
We need to build the public demand for a better future, and we should recognise those who are already fighting to deliver it.
That's why I've decided to join the Greens! 💚
#Tories are the last hope for real democracy. The rest are populists and we know where populism leads
Lawyers are supposed to be masters of English language so why do so many use the term genocide when by any interpretation of that language the "G" term is simply not encompassed by any definition? Quite simply they have an antipathy towards #Jews which is now de rigueur for them
This seems a very unwise and reactive response from Green 4 Palestine. Even I am shocked and I have zero respect for them.
Placing "Israel" in quotation marks is deeply politically disrespectful @ZackPolanski and calling Israel a "racist project" is vile.
Further - the mention of "apartheid" is clearly not evidenced by the recent election where, in a free and fair election, Arab voters have achieved an unprecedented number of seats.

On this day—November 2, 1945
Arab mobs in British-occupied Tripoli and Benghazi massacred 130+ Jews in three days of barbaric violence. Synagogues were burned, homes were looted, and entire families were wiped out. The British intervened slowly and inadequately.
Violence against Jews spread across the Arab world. Two years later, on November 24, 1947, the head of the Egyptian delegation to the UN warned the establishment of a Jewish state would threaten “the lives of millions of Jews in Muslim countries” and “create in these countries an antisemitism even more difficult to uproot than the antisemitism the Allies tried to eradicate in Germany.”
That prophecy was fulfilled almost immediately. After the November 29 UN partition vote, Jewish communities in Aden (80+ killed), Bahrain, Syria, and Egypt came under attack. In Mandate Palestine, Jews were attacked within hours. The targets were Jewish civilians, including bus ambushes, market massacres, ambushed convoys, and bodies were often mutilated. The war cry was “Itbah al-Yahud”—slaughter the Jews.
The Secretary-General of the Arab League declared against the Jews, “a war of extermination and a momentous massacre that will be remembered like the Mongol massacres and the Crusades.”
The ancient Jewish communities in what had become the Arab world were from there systematically attacked and ethnically cleansed.
A fine example of why this country is in such a state when a senior minister knows f*** all about matters she should have been prepared for. Heaven knows if she had to decide on some sort of emergency reaction to an unexpected happening....
Would any prospective Arab members of the Knesset take an oath of allegiance to the State of Israel? Would any Jewish parties accept an Arab in coalition based on that undertaking?
If Palestinians are indigenous to Gaza:
1. Then why did the ancient 6th-century mosaic floor discovered on a Gaza beach feature King David playing a harp, Hebrew inscriptions, and a menorah?
2. Then why were the original Philistines an extinct Greek seafaring people from Crete who spoke an Aegean language, rather than Arabs who arrived 1,800 years later from the Arabian Peninsula?
3. Then why was Gaza home to an active Jewish community for over 3,000 years, until Arab pogroms ethnically cleansed the Jews in 1929?
Who are the colonizers again?

Real footage of the build up to the 1967 Six-Day War. The Egyptian President gathered support from almost the entire Arab and Muslim world. The armies of many Muslim nations pledged their allegiance and their soldiers.
Listen to the words of the Saudi King. He gave his full support for the total extermination of the State of Israel. That has been and remains the ambition of all the Muslim nations. They’re not interested in peace. They don’t care who we choose as Prime Minister. All they want is our complete annihilation. This is why we fight. This is what we’re fighting.
That’s why I don’t care how many of them die in the wars that they themselves start. They’re not trying to defeat our army. They want to kill every living Jew. That’s all they’ve ever wanted. They’re all no different to Hamas. They simply wear suits.

FACTS
So let’s challenge the false narrative of the numbers of indigenous ‘ Palestinians ethnically cleansed ‘ ( some cite 700,000) vis a vis those Muslims and Arabs who were immigrants coming into Palestine as a result of the economic benefits brought about by Zionism - that would certainly be included in that collective.
Now during the period up to 1922 , thousands of Muslims entered Palestine as per the Encyclopaedia Brittanica notation 1911 authored by the Palestine expert R.A. Stewart Macalistair . These immigrants ( he refers to them as settlers establishing colonies ) also form part of the collective latterly called ‘ Palestinians ethnically cleansed ‘ during the 1948 War of Independence . He references thus .
Country or region of origin People or community coming into Palestine in the ten year period up to 1911 described as below -
Southern Arabia (Yemen) Yaman tribes
Northern Arabia Kais (Qais) tribes
Egypt Immigrants introduced during Egyptian rule
Turkey (Constantinople) Turkish officials
Armenia Armenian communities
Greece Greeks
Italy Italians
Persia Persians and Motawila
Afghanistan Afghan community, particularly in Jaffa
Kurdistan Kurdish communities
Bosnia Bosnian settlers at Caesarea
Caucasus Circassian settlers
Sudan Sudanese communities
Algeria Algerians settlers
He also references Turkoman settlements in the Jaulan and European communities associated with monasteries.
Similarly during the period between 1931 and 1936 thousands of Syrians entered the area as verified below . Would these have counted as ‘ Palestinians ethnically cleansed ‘ during the 1948 War of Independence . The Governor of Houran Province in Syria quoted in the publication called La Syrie, a French-language newspaper published in Damascus.
The interview appeared on 12 August 1934 and was with Tewfik Bey el-Huriani (also rendered Tewfik Bey El-Huriani), identified as Governor of the Hauran (Houran) district in French-mandate Syria.
The Governor reportedly stated that between 30,000 and 36,000 people from the Hauran had entered Palestine and settled there in the preceding months. He also mentioned that they were sending substantial sums of money back to their families in Syria.
I have found an important contemporary confirmation: the matter was subsequently raised before the League of Nations Permanent Mandates Commission in 1935.
Churchill and Roosevelt also made statements about mass immigration into Palestine .Were these immigrants also part of the collective latterly known as ‘ Palestinians ethnically cleansed during the 1948 War of Independence ‘
Churchill's statement, May 23 , 1939 -
“So far from being persecuted, the Arabs have crowded into the country [Palestine] and multiplied till their population has increased.”
A related statement by Franklin D. Roosevelt wrote in 1939:
“The Arab immigration into Palestine since 1921 has vastly exceeded the total Jewish immigration during this whole period.”
This was in a confidential communication concerning Palestine, reproduced in the US State Department's Foreign Relations of the United States documents
Notice there was no collective termed Palestinians - they hadn’t yet been invented !! So it seems a huge proportion of Arab Muslims who were ethnically cleansed from Palestine ( after 6 Arab armies and their Arab Palestinian proxies attempted to exterminate the Jews immediately following the Holocaust) were themselves colonising settlers .

Here is a riddle for you. How does the government hold a “public” Islamophobia consultation in secret?
Simple: it takes evidence only from organisations it has hand-selected, refuses to say who they are, and then, when an MP asks who responded, claim in parliament that the records have been “deleted”.
That, in essence, is how Britain acquired its official definition of “anti-Muslim hostility”, the rebranded version of the Islamophobia definition that Islamist groups have campaigned for over years.
@NJ_Timothy, the Conservative MP for West Suffolk and shadow justice secretary, exposed the scandal on The Brink this week.
It would be an outrage of transparency even if the consultation was about bus timetables. But the subject could not be more serious: free speech, Islamist incursion and the question of who gets to decide what Britons may say about religion.
And when Nick refused to accept the government’s word, he discovered that the records it swore it had “deleted” had been sitting on its servers all along.
Frankly, the whole thing stinks of an official cover-up on behalf of the Islamists. Ask yourself this: What has the government got to hide? Here’s what we know...
