Service delivery collapses, especially water, do fuel the migration pressure on CT. Recent data shows ~100k families from Gauteng alone in recent years. Even without outright DA majorities, DA-led coalitions in places like Joburg or Tshwane could improve outcomes. CT is already expanding desal and recycling capacity to cope. Coalitions will decide most of it.

Moya has asked that people stop sharing this video of water pumping out of the Garsfontein reservoirs after a pipe burst last week. Here's the problem. After this video, these reservoirs were at 9%. Here's the other problem, only 2 of the 3 storage tanks are in operation.
