The U.S. military has quietly been scaling back its presence at bases across the Middle East in recent days, according to two U.S. officials and two people familiar with the matter who spoke to NBC News. Troops at bases in Jordan, Qatar and Kuwait are among those moved, per one of the officials.
Earlier today, the State Department announced the U.S. embassy in Saudi Arabia is reducing staff. Spokesperson Tommy Pigott cited Iranian supported Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, including on civilian airports.
Chiefs of mission at multiple other posts were told they would operate with reduced staff, the officials said. U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) spokesperson said, “We regularly move U.S. service members and assets to optimize mission readiness.”
The sources said the moves respond to ongoing threats, including from Iran, and resemble drawdowns at the start of the war in February. One official and one person familiar said moving forces out of harm’s way is part of planning as President Donald J. Trump considers restarting major combat operations, potentially before or after the midterms. President Trump wrote on October 8th that the U.S. will not attack Iran before the November 3rd midterms.
NBC reports options presented to President Trump include strikes on tunnels or entrances at Iranian nuclear sites such as Pickaxe Mountain and on strategic islands including Kharg Island and Qeshm.

A woman who grew up in France just watched her hometown Limoges burn during the protests
She says she’s not surprised because the immigrants there hate White people and the native France. She says a Muslim man tried to marry her when she was 12 and would stalk her every day
“When I went to that school here, Collège de Ventadour, it was already a nightmare because we were getting beaten just for being Catholic or white or like the French@
She says they call White people and the native French derogatory names in addition to beating them
When I was 12 years old when I was there, this guy Ali — a 20-l year-old man, wanted to marry me, a 12-year-old girl, and was waiting for me outside the school every single ******* day. I had to hide because this guy was harassing me”
“Why am I not surprised this is happening in my hometown now? Because those inbreds are now the ones who reproduce and got more inbreds that are the ones in the street right now. Burning everything and burning this beautiful, beautiful piece of history”
Islam is not compatible with Western Civilization
A country is its people. If you import third world foreigners and Muslims, that’s the society you turn into. If you import Muslims who have 4-7+ kids each eventually they will our breed you
There are even Muslim families that have over 10 kids per family. It’s insane. There are multiple countries where 6 children is the average
They all need to be mass deported

Russia and China have begun developing equipment for a joint mission to Mars, according to Roscosmos chief Dmitry Bakanov.
“We are beginning a joint Martian mission, manufacturing instruments and equipment for studying Mars,” he said during Russian-Chinese government talks in St. Petersburg.
The two countries are already cooperating on China’s Chang’e-7 lunar mission, exchanging Earth observation satellite data and integrating their GLONASS and BeiDou navigation systems.
Russia is also responsible for developing a nuclear power installation for the planned International Lunar Research Station, a project involving 16 countries and two international organisations.

Rubio just said something that I have been preaching for YEARS!
He says everyone needs to “grow up” about foreign policy, and that it’s a good thing for the US, Russia, and China, to talk to each other.
The public have to be reprogrammed. They have been conditioned for decades to believe that Russia and China are our enemies, and that’s just how it has to be forever. When in reality, it doesn’t have to be that way. In fact, that line of thinking is archaic, and can only lead to an eventual global conflict.
The truth is, the US, Russian, and Chinese Militaries, all understand that war between any of the three nuclear superpowers would be detrimental to the world, and nobody wants that.
And if you want to go big picture 40,000 feet, Trump, Putin, and Xi, all share a common enemy, the transnational criminal organization known as the Deep State. I think all three of these leaders have come to an agreement to wipe the Deep State from the planet, and then after we get done riding the world of this evil organization destabilizing the globe, the three superpowers will be responsible for their spheres of influence, and work together as global partners instead of adversaries.
You are witnessing the dawning of a new age, with a new global power structure, and new rules of engagement, that protect sovereign nations and their People.

President Trump February 5, 2019,
"Our brave troops have now been fighting in the Middle East for almost 19 years. In Afghanistan and Iraq, nearly 7,000 American heroes have given their lives. More than 52,000 Americans have been badly wounded. We have spent more than $7 trillion in fighting wars in the Middle East.
As a candidate for President, I loudly pledged a new approach. Great nations do not fight endless wars."
Netanyahu today
"There is only one way to remove this threat once and for all: overthrow the regime in Iran."
He added that Trump told him:
“We are ready to finish the job, but we will do it only with you, the State of Israel.”
“That is exactly what we will do. We will neutralize the head of the octopus and move to cut off the remaining tentacles. We will eliminate Hamas and Hezbollah.”...
We will never run out of enemies.

Mojtaba decided to follow in his father's footsteps. He pulled the trigger, and Iran is once again trying to develop its bombs of death.
Therefore, there is only one way to remove this threat once and for all: to overthrow the regime in Iran.

By now it should be clear to our decision makers: we will not be able to end this war until we meaningfully restrain Israel. The Israelis have thwarted—& will continue to thwart—any deal we attempt to reach with Tehran.
Israel drove us into this war because we let them. The fundamental issue is this administration’s inability to stop our junior partner from acting like our senior partner.
It’s long past time for our leaders to do just that—lead by restraining the Israelis & end this war now.

Gentle reminder for Republicans who are mystified why so much of their base is sitting out the mid-terms.
The current administration has refused to restrain them at any level. They ran off Kent, Massie, and MTG. The launched a war in Iran. The refused to release the E Files.
And then there's Charlie Kirk. He's not around to weigh in on it. The last we heard from him was the night before he died when he stated clearly and emphatically, "I'm left no choice but to leave the pro-Israel cause."

🇪🇺 Europe is falling apart, and Neil Oliver thinks the people running it know exactly what they're doing.
France is burning, Germany is struggling, and Britain is being told to prepare for war.
Across Europe, millions of people are watching their living standards deteriorate while their governments insist everything is under control.
I asked him whether the growing warnings about Russia, the military preparations and the unrest spreading across Europe could be connected.
His answer was extraordinary.
Neil argues that Europe's political establishment has spent decades stripping individual nations of their sovereignty, weakening their economies and transferring power to Brussels.
And now, as public anger grows, he believes the prospect of war offers something extremely convenient:
An excuse for emergency powers, restrictions on movement, extraordinary government spending, and potentially even conscription.
But here's where his argument gets even darker.
Neil believes the unrest itself is being manipulated.
He argues that the grievances driving protests in France are genuine, but alleges that violent elements are being deliberately encouraged to turn public anger into chaos.
Why?
Because disorder gives governments a justification to crack down on the very populations demanding change.
But he thinks the establishment has underestimated one thing:
“You cannot impose something unwanted on 500 million people unless they go along with it to some extent.”
And he believes the moment enough Europeans withdraw that consent, the entire political project could unravel.

🇺🇸 RON PAUL WARNED ABOUT AMERICA'S DEBT, ENDLESS WARS AND A FUTURE CONFLICT WITH IRAN
Decades later, we're living through much of what he feared.
I had the privilege of speaking with former Congressman Ron Paul about the warnings he made more than twenty years ago.
Back in 2002, he was warning about runaway debt, the erosion of personal freedoms, rising gold prices and America's addiction to foreign wars.
In 2011, he specifically warned that an American president might overreact and bomb Iran.
And here we are.
I wanted to understand how he saw so much of this coming.
His answer was surprisingly simple. He wasn't predicting the future. He was studying history, economics and what happens when governments accumulate too much power.
One thing he told me really stayed with me.
Most politicians, he believes, actually enter Congress with good intentions. But the system gradually teaches them to serve party leadership, donors and special interests instead of their principles.
And he hasn't given up on changing that.
He reminded me that meaningful change doesn't require convincing everyone. Sometimes a small group of people committed to an idea can change an entire country.
What struck me most was that, after decades of watching the very mistakes he warned against unfold, Ron Paul still believes ordinary people can turn things around.
At 91, thankfully, he's still making the case for peace, liberty and honest money.

Scientists using Chandra have discovered that the origin of an unusual source of radio waves called the "Treble Clef" was likely an outburst from a supermassive black hole, followed by a collision of two galaxy clusters. 🎼More at: chandra.si.edu/photo/2026/tr…

ALT A composite image of a remarkable radio wave formation that strongly resembles a treble clef musical symbol, hovering in the midst of two colliding galaxy clusters. Here, galaxies in the galaxy clusters, plus foreground and background stars and galaxies, blanket the image with specks of light set against the blackness of space. At the center of the frame is a large, oval, blue-purple cloud with ragged edges. In the middle of the purple field, tilting slightly to our left, is what appears to be a giant treble clef, loosely drawn with a neon pink marker. Like the musical notation for which it's named, the formation has a strong vertical stroke with a continuous, fluid line swooping back and forth as it moves from top to bottom.

Elon Musk reveals that an ex-Tesla employee who assaulted a woman for stepping on his prayer rug went on to kill three students in Austin.
MUSK: "We had someone who was working at the Tesla factory in Austin until December of last year. He was fired because he assaulted a woman who stepped on his prayer rug in the factory. Okay. So she wasn't expecting anyone to be praying in the factory, and he was praying in the factory. She accidentally stepped on his prayer rug, and he assaulted her. He violently assaulted her. So he was fired for that, and then a few months later, he went and killed three students in a bar in downtown Austin. Now, I think we shouldn't let people like that into the country. Do you?"

US electricity prices are skyrocketing.
The average price of US residential electricity has risen +11% since January 2025, to 19.6 cents per kilowatt-hour in August 2026, near an all-time high.
Average prices during the first 8 months of 2026 were +40% higher than in the same period of 2019.
The largest increase in residential electricity prices over this period was in Maine, at +90%, followed by California and New York, at nearly +70%.
This comes as the AI boom is intensifying electricity demand, with data centers requiring enormous amounts of electricity to power thousands of chips and cooling systems.
A 1-gigawatt data center can consume as much electricity as 800,000 homes.
As a result, wholesale electricity prices in areas near significant data center activity surged by as much as +267% between 2020 and 2025.
The AI revolution is driving a surge in electricity demand, and households are increasingly feeling the cost.

This Calabrian farmer breaks down in tears: "I don't have the courage to tell my son to follow my path". He is not the only one. Across Italy, thousands of big, strong, hardworking men are crying. They don't even make it to the end of the month. They don't make it to the 15th. They work from dawn to dusk and can't feed their families. A catastrophic situation. "I don't care about political colors. I stand for decent people." This is the real Italy they are destroying. Listen to him.
Italy. A man sits on the ground, facing the police, weeping in despair. He no longer knows how to feed his children. He offers no resistance; he is pleading for help. This is not just the cry of a single truck driver or farmer—it is the cry of countless Italians. Between the cost of fuel, utility bills, and taxes, working is no longer enough to make a living. Italy is on the brink of total chaos.
