Mark Carney attended the Oilers home opener last night and remained seated as the crowd stood to applaud a Canadian Army veteran. Disrespectful.

The government is thinking about passing a law that allows the CRA to fine you $50 per day if you don't hand over docs quick enough.
Meanwhile: Liberals won't try to recoup $34 million paid by green slush fund to ineligible projects.

ATTN LONDON ON‼️
From FB⬇️ posted by property owner Zr Molham
🚨 TRESPASSING INCIDENT ON PRIVATE PROPERTY – LONDON, ONTARIO 🚨
Just wanted to make people in the London area aware of what happened on my property today.
Two people entered my private property without permission. The property is fenced and I have around 15 Private Property / No Trespassing signs posted around the land, including right where they entered.
I caught them on my trail cameras carrying a large black plastic bag/material. After they left, I went through the property and found what they had been carrying, along with a dead animal that looks like a goat dumped on my land.
We contacted both the police and Conservation. Unfortunately, even after calling the police, they still haven't come to the property as of now. Conservation has also been notified and is supposed to come check the property.
I'm posting their pictures here because I want people in the London area to be aware, and I'd really like to know who these people are.
If anyone recognizes them or knows anything about them, please send me a private message.
It's honestly very disturbing to have strangers walk onto your property and dump a dead animal, especially when the property is fenced and clearly marked with Private Property / No Trespassing signs.

Mark Carney could not be more out of touch.
With Canadians missing meals and mortgage payments, and days before he addresses the European Parliament (instead of the Canadian Parliament) we learn in a foreign newspaper of secret talks to make Canada an "Associate Member" of the European Union.
This is not about diversifying trade: we have had tariff-free trade with Europe for over a decade. They would buy more of our goods today if the Liberal government would get out of the way and permit mines, pipelines, LNG plants to produce and ship them.
Canadians deserve answers: Is the WSJ report true about associate membership in the EU?
If so, will European border policies apply in Canada, further overwhelming our immigration system while our youth can’t find homes?
Will Canadian waitresses struggling with rent have to pay tax dollars to the bloated EU bureaucracy?
Will Canadian small businesses be buried under the red tape of Eurocrats that have never met a Canadian entrepreneur?
All questions I’d ask in Parliament, but it is shuttered.
And one more: who decides for Canada?
The Welland welder did not elect a Eurocrat to regulate our steel. The Saskatchewan farmer and the Atlantic fisherman did not choose a Brussels agrifood regulator that has never even seen our prairies or coasts.
We will NEVER be the 51st U.S. state. And we will NEVER be the 28th EU state.
We are Canadians. This is our home, our freedom, our sovereignty, our people.
Now and forever.

Put aside what you think about joining the EU. We should agree it's wrong to learn about Carney's ambitions to do so via an American media story - seemingly, the only way Canadians get information on items of consequence involving our government. #cdnpoli wsj.com/world/europe/canada-…

George Chuvalo has died.
Born on this day in 1937, he was a five-time Canadian heavyweight champion and twice fought Muhammad Ali. In 93 fights, he was never knocked down. Ali called him the toughest man he ever fought. He had 73 wins, 64 by knockout.
RIP Champ.

I’m sorry that @DouthatNYT has left the @nytimes, where he has been a brilliant, dissident conservative voice for the most influential liberal print media outlet in the world.
IMO he has also run the most interesting and valuable podcast in the pod sphere.
His humane conservative vision, particularly his ability to take on the deepest disagreements with charity and civility, are needed now more then ever,
Godspeed to Ross on his new venture at CBS 60 Minutes!
"In an era when "dunking" on one's opponent passes for argumentation, Douthat's capacity for “steelmanning” his interlocutor’s positions speaks not only to his confidence in his own views, but his respect for the dignity of those with whom he disagreed."

🚨🇨🇦 SHOCKING: A fearless Canadian woman finally said what so many others are thinking but are too afraid to say.
She interrupted a mass Muslim prayer in downtown Toronto, where pro-Palestinian activists blocked off an entire public area.
Not because mosques were lacking (there are plenty nearby). But to assert dominance over public space.
Do you stand with her against this blatant takeover?

When I began studying supply management almost 30 years ago, very few people, I mean just a handful, were willing to criticize the system or call for reform. Those of us who did were often met with threats and intimidation, while the prevailing view was that supply management should remain untouchable.
Today, more Canadians are beginning to recognize that the system has serious limitations and must either be reformed or abolished. The only explanation I can see for this growing awareness is social media.
Traditional media never played much of a role because most journalists never truly understood supply management. Like politicians, they often repeated what marketing boards told them to say. Now, Canadians are finally realizing that something is fundamentally wrong with the system.
Thank goodness.

I am being told it's demeaning to the people who live in them
I'm told it hurts sales, it hurts feelings, it casts tiny Condos in a bad light

So I decided: Fuck That

You act surprised. We are reaping what you sowed.
This is what happens when a Prime Minister spends 9 years pushing toxic woke identity politics, dividing and subdividing people by race, gender, vaccine status, religion, region, age, wealth, etc.
On top of driving people apart, you systematically break what used to bring us together, saying Canada is a “post-national state” with “no core identity.”
You erased our veterans and military, the Famous Five and even Terry Fox from our passport to replace them with meaningless squirrels, snowflakes and a drawing of yourself swimming as a boy.
You opened the borders to terrorists and lawbreakers and called anyone who questioned it racist.
You send out your MPs to say one thing in a mosque and the opposite in a synagogue, one thing in a mandir and the opposite in a gurdwara.
You have made Canada a playground for foreign interference. You allowed Iran’s IRGC terrorists to legally operate here for four years after they murdered 55 of our citizens in a major unprovoked attack.
You passed laws that release rampant offenders from prison within hours of their 80th arrest.
And what is the result? Assassinations on Canadian soil, firebombings of synagogues, extremist violence against mandirs and gurdwaras, over 100 churches burned or vandalized (with barely any condemnation from you), all for a total 251% more hate crime.
And, while you were dancing, Montreal was burning.
We won’t let you divide us anymore. Call an election now.
We will fire you and reclaim our citizenship, our values, our lives, our freedom and, most of all, our country.

One of the most jarring things about adulthood is the realization of how many truly incompetent people are in the most important jobs. When I was a kid, I just assumed everyone “important” was smart or they wouldn’t be important. Boy, was that fucking wrong.

Only an urban-centric, eastern-focused government would expropriate hundreds of farmers to build a rail project from Quebec City to Toronto in pursuit of votes.
Disrupting farming communities for a politically attractive infrastructure project is simply insane.
