Good news for motorsport on Australia: the #F1 #AusGP🇦🇺 is still on the 2021 calendar, now postponed to 21 November. It's the third-last round of the season (R21) after a triple-header in the Americas and before a Saudi Arabia–Abu Dhabi double-header finale on 5 and 12 December.

The 2020 #F1 calendar is in, starting with the #AusGP on 21 March.
The season features 22 races after Vietnam was pulled from the schedule, but the weekend fo 23-25 April is TBC, with a 23rd race on the cards.
No official word on why Hanoi was canned.

Any system that rewards failure will be exploited. I haven’t forgotten single-lap Q1 at Silverstone in 2004, when drivers were deliberately spinning or slowing to a halt so that they would run early in Q2 and avoid the rain that was forecast.

Now that reverse grid is off the table my solution is we instead reverse the cars but not the drivers. This means in race 2 Lewis can still start at the front, but he will be in a Williams, Bottas is in P2 but driving a Haas and Verstappen is 3rd but has to drive the Renault. #F1
