Now that the “ban ai data center” people are in positions of power…
Got that local ai setup yet?
With all the politics being shoved down my throat, here are my thoughts on AI:
If Democrats win, open source and local AI thrive.
If Republicans win, frontier models accelerate and we get AGI and ASI.
AI doomers have nowhere to hide for not participating.

People will download a 210GB game without blinking, then call a local AI model "too big."
My daily driver is about 119GB and it actually does work for me.
You have the disk. You have the RAM and probably a GPU. You just haven't tried yet.
GTA 6 is 210 GB. Most local AI models are smaller than that. People will happily download a 210 GB game in seconds and then complain a local model is "too big." If you're buying GTA 6, you can afford 32 GB of RAM. 🎮🤖
European supermarkets are getting their freezers hacked. 🥶 Prepping isn't only about canned food and a generator anymore. If everything goes down, local AI is how your business keeps running offline. Don't be the one caught unprepared.
AI agents are stressing CEOs out. You burn $1,000 on API bills and then realize Hermes is free. You can customize it, pick your models, and run it locally with zero API costs. All roads lead to Hermes. Comment "Hermes" and I'll send you the setup.
GPT-6.2 Astra could be getting a MASSIVE price cut 👀 It's rumored to go from $10 in and $50 out to $4 in and $20 out per 1M tokens. That's 60% cheaper, and it's supposed to be smarter too. No release date yet, but it's coming soon. Who's hyped?

Man, they REALLY want everyone to move to local, sovereign AI ASAP don't they?
We’ve trained Claude to flag potential misuse in conversations, a technique we call self-assessment. Right after it responds, Claude gives a preliminary safety assessment of the conversation.
Since we began using self-assessment in June, it has surfaced misuse that our other safeguards weren’t designed to catch.
Because Claude has already read the conversation, self-assessment is very efficient. And unlike classifiers, which target a discrete set of harms, it draws on Claude’s own judgment, so it gets more accurate as our models improve.

Nick Fuentes is scared by the recent rapid progression with AI.
"It's getting a little scary, and no one is paying attention."
