the neurodivergent urge to believe that absolutely any misunderstanding can be resolved by explaining yourself again, but more clearly this time. and if they still don’t understand, you just need to explain it differently. and if that doesn’t work, explain it in more detail. and if THAT doesn’t work, write a 12-paragraph essay because surely the right combination of words will finally make them understand. 😭
