Excited to share two new papers with @DenardLab on SRP54. Mutations in this gene cause severe congenital neutropenia, a rare childhood blood disorder with elevated risk of pediatric leukemia.

New Preprint from our lab. The @BrunerLab and us developed yeast strains to perform functional genomics studies of the signal recognition particle. We were surprised strains with titratable expressions of the SRP complex did not exist, so we built some. biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…
