ALT An illustration of two timelines. The first is titled, "When you think you'll deserve to love yourself," and shows milestones as, "When you lose weight," "When you get promoted," and "When you stop being anxious." The second is titled, "When you actually do." The whole timeline is highlighted.

anything horrible happening in your life will make you stronger, and better able to empathize with others down the road.
may that be a small life raft/reminder/balm when horrible things are happening.
you’ll be better at helping.
p.s.
horrible things will keep happening.
