Big news from Michigan. Today, Michigan became the 1st state in the nation to provide Medicaid coverage for rapid whole genome sequencing to acutely ill infants meeting clinical criteria. This is a huge step forward. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this happen.
Today, Michigan becomes the first state to make rapid Whole Genome Sequencing™ a covered benefit for eligible infants enrolled in Medicaid. Congrats on extending the success of Project Baby Deer!

Several years ago, a neighbor kid kicked a football and shattered a small basement window. We were a family of six living on a teacher's salary at the time, so I boarded it up, thinking I'd get to it someday. The frame was rusted shut. I couldn't fix it.
