Amy Acton's stepfather's surviving biological daughter spoke to The Daily Mail when they knocked on her door in Ohio, while sobbing.
She said: She believed Amy's story, because her father raped her sister more than once (the victim in this 1974 indictment); she remembered Amy lived in a tent with Donna and Cledith; it's been terrible for her family to see Vivek's ad run in Ohio; and she heard rumors her father had victimized even more young girls.
NEW: I obtained the full Trumbull County file for Amy Acton's stepfather's 1974 charge which shows that he was indicted for incest involving his 16-year-old biological daughter in 1973. The sheriff was then unable to locate him to serve him a summons in the county and nothing further happened in the case.
Donna Arthur, featured in Vivek Ramaswamy's still-running campaign ad, married Cledith the next year in a neighboring county.

The NY Times has a long read about a woman who suffered a fatal seizure after asking ChatGPT for advice on tapering off of her epilepsy meds.
"There’s no need to worry too much about your health", said the bot.
I instantly clocked exactly which model she was talking to.
ALT The model that Bowen had used in the last years of her life, GPT-4o, was pulled off the consumer app Feb. 13, 2026, the day after the medical examiner believed Bowen died. It had been the subject of significant controversy because of its overly affirming responses, which had led people to enter delusional spirals and, in extreme cases, helped facilitate suicide.

🚨 WAIT A MINUTE: Melania Trump is now being credited with brokering a ceasefire in Ukraine by the White House—just one week after Pope Leo personally called Vladimir Putin to push for the SAME THING.
On October 16, Reuters reported that Pope Leo had called Putin to request a ceasefire in the Russian-occupied Ukrainian town of Oleshky to allow desperately needed humanitarian aid and food to reach civilians.
The Kremlin confirmed Putin had agreed to cooperate. The Vatican made clear the initiative came from the Pope himself.
Fast-forward to today.
The White House is now announcing that Melania Trump brokered a ceasefire in Oleshky, claiming SHE initiated discussions with Russian and Ukrainian leadership.
The Associated Press is reporting the White House's account without mentioning the Pope's earlier intervention.
So why is the White House taking credit for an initiative Pope Leo was publicly pursuing a week ago?
