It probably shows what March Madness is as a property that Ernie will apparently still be parachuting in for the Final Four studio & trophy presentation but has no plans to do so for the NBA Finals.
It absolutely sucks that not only is this asshole completely in charge of Texas Tech football, he doesn’t even try to hide the amount of influence he has. Sad state of affairs in college athletics, but we knew that already.
Absolutely nothing is going to change at the head coach position at Texas Tech. Joey McGuire is a perfect fit for our program, everybody, with an opinion that matters, loves him. He isn’t going anywhere. If anything, we are ready, willing, and able to double down on him and this program. It’s more likely that he gets an extension and raise at the end of this year.
Long story short, this article is a ridiculous waste of time, but if you do feel compelled to write another one, please find a better picture of me!

A great host, but I’m not sure everyone knows what an amazing person Ernie Johnson is. Ernie and his wife Cheryl adopted 4 children, including his son Michael who had an incurable disease, Duchenne Muscular dystrophy. They brought Michael home from Romania after being told nobody wanted him. The Johnsons gave Michael the best life, he sadly passed in 2021. Ernie has also fought cancer twice and championed many great causes. Truly the goat.

The SEC wants its best game at 7:30 and its second-best game at 3:30.
Georgia-Ole Miss is the SEC's best game that week.
Bama-LSU is the second-best.
Georgia-Ole Miss gets 7:30. Bama-LSU gets 3:30.
