Michael Carrick giving himself the day off after losing 4-1 to Como
Carrick usually arrives at Carrington around 7.30am but no sign of him at Carrington this morning as #mufc players on a day off. Some players and staff tried to hide from photographers at Manchester Airport. Carrick didn't.
Huge 7 days start on Saturday.
Tottenham (H) - MUST WIN
Liverpool (A) - Impossible not to rotate but a rotated team still includes Estevao and maybe Quenda.
Man Utd (H) - Feels like a must win given what’s going on but that fixture is impossible to predict.
Alonso’s comments in his chat with Carragher highlight the high standards but he has also hinted that success is not expected to come instantly and that patience is required. The aim to build a team competing consistently for major honours over the coming years. roundtable.io/sports/soccer/…

Bournemouth playing in Europe tonight and then play on Sunday + injuries. Shocked if United lose this weekend so probably in charge for our game.
Chelsea not beaten Carrick since he went to United in 2 different spells so idk what to think.
Michael Carrick expected to manage against Bournemouth at the weekend, as we reported on @talkSPORT earlier. He'll face the media as always. Business as usual at Old Trafford for now, despite normal succession planning in case a change is made.
🚨 Chelsea are expected to move for Alex Scott in January. [@kierangill_DM]
❗️Bournemouth owner Bill Foley on Alex Scott: “At this point, we're convinced we're the right place for Alex to be and to stay, and we'll keep on addressing the contract issues with Alex as we move through this year. We'd love to have Alex stay here and sign a new contract and be part of this team for the long haul.” [talksport] talksport.com/football/46590…
Acheampong’s progress under Alonso could offer encouragement to both Quenda and Estêvão, both have struggled for game time so far but just like Josh before the break, Alonso’s trust is paying off so far. roundtable.io/sports/soccer/…
