I suspect most artists think ADs enjoy telling artists what to do but honestly the opposite is true. The best jobs are collaborating with a vague idea of where youre headed but both artist & AD happily surprised where you end up.

you can make art without participating in the process of commodifying it. turning art into revenue is an ugly process and there's no way around that. choosing not to engage with the industry doesn't make your art less important, less meaningful, or less worthy.

At this point any company that gets rid of remote work is saying they don't care about their staff, they don't want disabled people working for them, and that you shouldn't give them any of your money.

Companies are starting to nix the remote roles.
It's a bad look. A very bad look.
"We can't do it," is obviously false.
We have a year-long experiment, on a global scale, proving otherwise.

Pfizer CEO says that we will need a booster shot for Covid within 12 months of being vaccinated. I am happy to get a booster if it means I can have margaritas with my friends and not die from a horrible lung disease wtf is wrong with this website.
