This looks like a cool opportunity for folks at the intersection of #DataScience and biology. And I'll say that I've really enjoyed serving as an associate editor at Proc B, the papers are interesting and the staff is great.
Interested in #data and keen on joining an editorial board? #ProcB is now recruiting #DataEditors to join the board in 2024. Find out more and how to apply ow.ly/Wvjf50PBum0

...should have tagged #2023SFS too. We like all aquatic scientists, however fast or slow their water might move.
Hi @GLEON folks! Does anyone know if there's a successor to the B3 software around? We have long used B3 in our workflow for processing sensor data but it seems like it's no longer available? Thanks for any tips...

This is wonderful! I think that giving long-term datasets World Heritage status can contribute to support and maintain further long-term monitoring, and promote sustainable local economy. Our Lake Kasumigaura monitoring has continued since 1976.
Long-term environmental records are vital to global health. To ensure their longevity + accessibility, scientists are calling for the designation of World Heritage Datasets. Today in @ScienceMagazine: science.org/doi/10.1126/scie…

Super excited to share our study led by @Eeekology in @Nature where we found that animal herbivores prefer to eat nitrogen-fixing trees. This presents a major cost, constraining nitrogen-fixing species in tropical forests.
