🎬 DID YOU KNOW? AMC Theatres was founded in 1920 when brothers Maurice, Edward, and Barney Dubinsky purchased the Regent Theatre in Kansas City, Missouri.
What began as a single movie theater would eventually become the largest movie theater chain in the world.
In 1963, AMC helped revolutionize moviegoing by opening one of the first modern multiplexes, forever changing the theatrical exhibition industry.
Over a century of cinema history! 🍿

Brad Pitt’s Cliff Booth movie won’t play at Regal or Cinemark. David Fincher is directing, Quentin Tarantino wrote it, and AMC is showing it. Here’s why the cinema chains disagree.

Tuesday is Election Day.
Donald Trump will become a lame duck, according to all available polling.
The American people gave Trump a mandate. The House, Senate, and Executive. What was accomplished?
——————————
The 119th Congress has passed 136 public laws, signed by President Trump and enacted into law.
The Laken Riley Act:
-Requires DHS to detain noncitizens who are charged with certain crimes.
The One Big Beautiful Bill:
-Permanently extends the 2017 Tax Cuts
-Provides additional funding for border security, ICE, detention, and deportation
-Raises the statutory debt limit by $5 trillion
-Changes to Medicaid and SNAP (work requirements, frequency of eligibility checks)
-Tax Deductions on Tips ($25,000) and overtime ($12,500) which expire in 2028
The other 134 bills signed into law consist of appropriations and continuing-resolution bills, and other narrow measures.
——————————
Everything else the administration has achieved has been done via Executive Order, and therefore can be undone via Executive Order by the next President.
What happened to the “Golden Era” of America?

Bill Maher Challenges Charlie Rose: “Islam is not like other religions. It is a unique threat.”
Bill Maher: I think liberals should stop booing me for pointing out that Islam is not like other religions, that it is a unique threat.
Charlie Rose: But it's not Islam you're against.
Bill Maher: Howard Dean said, “The people in ISIS... I'm about as Islamic as they are,” distancing the vast numbers of Muslims around the world from it. That's just not true.
Charlie Rose: It is true.
Bill Maher: It is not true, Charlie. There is a connecting tissue between
Charlie Rose: You mean behind every Muslim is a future member of some radical
Bill Maher: Let me finish.
There are illiberal beliefs held by vast numbers of Muslims that I don't think have
Charlie Rose: Vast numbers of Christians, too.
Bill Maher: No, that's not true.
Vast numbers of Christians don't believe that if you leave Christianity, you should be killed. They don't treat women as second-class citizens, and they don't believe drawing Jesus should get you killed.
Does ISIS kill people indiscriminately who aren't like them? Yes.
Would most Muslims do that or condone it? No.
But most Muslims in the world do condone violence just for what you think.
Charlie Rose: How do you know that?
Bill Maher: First of all, they say it. There's a Pew poll of Egypt where 82% said stoning was the appropriate punishment for adultery, and over 80% thought death was appropriate for leaving Islam.
So to claim this religion is like other religions is naive and wrong.
Saudi Arabia has also beheaded people for nonviolent crimes, including homosexuality.
Charlie Rose: They even cut the hands off a thief.
Bill Maher: Right. We're upset when ISIS beheads people, as we should be, but Saudi Arabia does it too, and they're our friends because they have oil.
This is the centre of the religion. In Mecca, non-Muslims aren't even allowed into the holy part of the city.
If people were being beheaded in Vatican City, don't you think there'd be a bigger outcry?
This is the soft bigotry of low expectations. When Muslim people do or believe things we consider extreme, it's somehow not discussed nearly as much.
Charlie Rose: I don't believe what we see with ISIS represents Islam. I don't think the Quran teaches them to do this.
Bill Maher: Well, you're wrong about that. The Quran absolutely has horrible things about how infidels should be treated.
And can we really say women are treated equally in the Muslim world?
Their testimony in court is often counted as half. They may need permission to leave the house, and women are forced to wear burqas.
And I hear liberals say, “Well, they want to.”
They've been brainwashed.
NHS found to be paying $PLTR for unused services and making false statements about the extent of its use in the European hospital system.
Nothing like government paying for unused services and making false statements to support a company with PE 160 for the sake of pensions.

This is what the beginning of the surveillance state looks like in America
Americans in Connecticut received a bill for additional taxes on their car because cameras spotted it in a different city
A private company called Municipal Tax Service (MTS) is hired by cities to drive around and use automatic license plate readers on cars parked in different cities
It then makes connections if that car lives in that area and sends the owner a bill for new taxes on that vehicle for being in the city
The owner of this vehicle says she doesn’t live in that city, provided proof and says her car was only in a different city because her kid drives there for school
MTS didn’t care and said that the proof didn’t matter and they had to pay it. They appealed to the city, the city said they had to deal with MTS
But here’s the problem, MTS gets paid 38% commission on tax revenue they recover + $50 per vehicle billed to the owner. They made $9 million in commission in just one year from sending people additional tax bills
So this company has no incentive to ever help you and just deny you, which they did
Only after the mainstream media got involved would the city drop this one new tax bill which was false to begin with
In America we now literally have private companies driving around scamming our license plates to tax us more money
This is insanity and it needs to end

Do you notice the pattern?
Right after the hippie Zionist “conservative” Javier Milei became president of Argentina, he handed Argentina’s water to an Israeli company. Texas is handing over its water system to Israelis. California dumps God-given water coming from the north into the ocean while letting an Israeli family control the water instead of taking over the land under eminent domain laws. How many other states and countries are handing their water systems over to the Israelis?

Chinese models run 112 times cheaper than Anthropic for every million tokens.
Chamath broke it down on CNBC: Anthropic's "barrel of intelligence" runs $56, OpenAI $26, Meta $1.50, xAI and Google $1, and Chinese models $0.50.
That gap amounts to the steepest commodity curve in the recorded history of technology.
Oil needed 40 years to compress that way. Semiconductors needed 20. AI inference is getting there in months.
The firms priced at $26 and $56 aren't careless. They're gambling that trust, safety and enterprise ties keep the markup in place long enough for their costs to fall.
The timeline is the one thing they can't bet on. The $0.50 model is a working product.
