“Climate change” was almost completely discredited on points of fact, but the general feeling of environmental doom and emotional reflexes remained. This is now pointed nonsensically toward AI. Modern lifestyle requires a sort of secular millenarianism to rationalize itself (1/3)
Sorry, I am too busy portraying myself as a child predator to do all that other stuff
Unless House Ds have radically changed their approach to impeachment and investigations, Garcia is bringing a party noisemaker to a gunfight. The last time Democrats ran House investigations, they undermined their subpoena authority (Court enforcement is a dead-end after the McGahn case), failed to move public opinion, and handed Trump two impeachment acquittals.

So many choices after the military campaign felt antithetical to how he’s always operated on foreign policy. Outside of literally this conflict, I can’t tell you a President that has better instincts on foreign policy. And even as I typed that, I don’t think anyone would’ve handled Iran any better either. The political fallout of this adds the weight but there’s still no President in modern history that matches his instincts on foreign policy despite this really bad mistake.
And it’s hard to say that without implying that “ISRAEL ALWAYS HAD HIM AND CRUSHED MAGA” but that’s not it at all, at least in my opinion. What seems to me is that it was a mix of fear and ego that drove him away from his instincts. Half his former allies were calling him the anti-Christ or working with those who did. The only ones that weren’t that had any outreach that mattered were retards on Fox News who he’s also turned against and begun to tune out.
This all probably seems like I’m trying to make excuses but I’ve followed Trump for a long time. I feel like anyone following him since he came down the escalator who isn’t mind raped by Israel (in both ways) would somewhat agree with my take on that. It’s all very speculative of course, I have no connections to the admin let alone to those in charge of war.

⬇️”I ain’t reading all that” type post below⬇️
I have my personal opinions on a lot of things about this administration, and most of them, the vast majority actually, are positive.
One lesson I will take, not that I did not already know it, is that despite feeling correct, and even if I am, it does not matter. I mentioned this a couple days ago in a post, but Ben Shapiro did us a great disservice by getting us comfortable with the phrase “facts do not care about your feelings.” It is completely the other way around.
This may be seen as cope, and that is okay. Maybe it is blackpilling, but we really need to take a lesson from Obama on how to quietly make radical change while appearing moderate and using fantastic messaging.
So many things we want are radical or take radical changes. I do not say radical in a necessarily partisan political way. We do need tariffs for reindustrialization, but people will use them as an easy scapegoat if things do not get better, and then they become toxic. They also needed to be implemented much more smoothly.
Like I have said in all my posts since the loss, a lot of these things do not make much of a difference when accounting for the war and the rise in fuel prices, but even that could have been sold so much better. Despite my support, that was clearly recognizable.
This “assuming you are always correct” thing might get worse on the Right. Groypers think they are the reason these midterms happened. Tucker thinks his disgusting traitorous rhetoric helped this. Plan trusters were really caught off guard by Democrat turnout. But Republicans showed up for the midterms. Republican support of Trump is not likely to go away anytime soon despite all of this. The main policies of MAGA, even more so. And that is a good thing.
It is upsetting, but we need to do better in these spaces. For reference, the 2014 midterms were considered high turnout for Republicans, and the number was 40 million. Things change and make them relatively different now, but even in a blue mega tsunami, the Republican raw total was 54 million. This is a clear sign of a pre Trump GOP and a present Trump GOP.
The AI issue, chiefly among this thinking, is one that really showed, just like nuclear energy. It doesn’t help that we have Altman and Dario trying to sink their industries to become the monopolies of the American AI industry or whatever gay reason they have for it.
Yes, the tone deafness of Trump mmay not have affected those who support Trump already and trust him, but we all need a normie sixth sense. Not to bend the knee to it, but to be able to decipher how we sell controversial policies and ideas. A rule I have discovered between both of Trump’s terms is that he can say anything he wants with a good economy, affordability wise of course, but when people do not feel that way, his behavior and choice of words get compounded negatively in the minds of voters. You can talk about Nicki Minaj’s fat ass all you want when things feel good, lmao. I know that is just one example, and I used the most egregious one to get the point across, but I feel like that point is understood.
I am upset that he made mistakes that led us to our loss too. But disregarding Trump is not a winning move and will lead to a bigger loss in 2028. We need to get leaner and more efficient of course, for lack of a better term, but a GOP that pretends like Trump did not exist will not win. We have more to offer as the GOP than ever before, at least in the last 30 years, but we still unfortunately need the infrastructure to sell these ideas.
They don't hate him so much because of his beliefs, they hate him because he's one of the most capable bureaucratic infighters in Trump's orbit and has been since the start

Miller has been one of the few Trump staffers who were good at institution- and network-building. America First Legal, DHS staffing, Andrew Veprek at State's Remigration Office, Vince Haley at DPC, Ross Worthington, Robert Gabriel. Built a farm team

I believe that Miller is autistically and singularly obsessed with immigration, deportations, and replacement issues. I believe he has been aiming for this for decades and has made it his life‘s mental obsession to see this vision come into play. He has thought up every single administrative solution, constitutional angle, and revival of outdated laws. He cares about one thing: reversing replacement migration and stopping continued replacement. But he knows he has to be in the arena to do anything at all.
In this situation, and I would advise every right wing radical to have this mindset, you have to say whatever is necessary to stay alive. You cannot actualize your vision if you do not have the total trust of the president. This is why he spent all year privately urging against Iran and was constantly on the side that was urging deescalation. But when publicly asked about it, it was very important that he never counter signal the president. Trump is obsessed with himself and remembers disloyalty.
If the goal is to stay in the arena, Miller made the right move in publicly backing the president. This is classic—CLASSIC—Machiavelli. Have you read him? You say what you must. You are a realist about power dynamics. Because your opinion before the public has no bearing on what you actually need to do if your singular obsession is something like immigration.
While Miller would have wanted to stay out of Iran, and was right that it was bad for the base, a golden opportunity has opened up where he is one of the last advisors that has the total trust of Trump. I believe that part of this is because he both stayed publicly loyal, but also was vindicated in his private advice. A year ago I was so cynical about Trump. I suspected that Wiles would outlast Miller. The midterm loss turned out to leave Miller standing alone. This is remarkable.
If any of you had the ear of Trump and was in the position that Miller is currently in, I would advise you to do exactly what Miller has done. I would advise you to publicly back the President and privately advise him to change course. And if he doesn’t take your advice, you don’t get emotional about it. You don’t crash out. You stay on track. I also respect Joe Kent. Joe Kent resigned in protest. But now Stephen Miller has power and Joe Kent has nothing. You must remember this.
All political actors can leave you disappointed. But for now, I totally trust Stephen Miller. And instead of accusing me of being a total Trooster (which I wasn’t over this year), let’s continue to work together and keep the disagreements behind the scenes because we have the same objective: reversing replacement migration, and securing the existence of the American people for our posterity. 3/3

It’s hard to get a true comparison of the swing between 2026 and 2024 because they were different elections. So heres the swing in 2026 in each state VERSUS the last Trump midterm in 2018, relative to the nation.
Regional differences are declining.

Was there a brief period after the election where "shy Trump voters" were emboldened before regressing to their normal M.O., or did voters genuinely vote Trump into office and then give him all of one month before saying, "guess i'll cut my dick off"🤷♂️

there’s something psychologically terroristic about these kids books that are full of adult platitudes. “there’s nothing wrong with asking for help”. yeah. my 5 year old never would have thought there was. “you don’t have to be extraordinary to be loved”. do not tell my kid that
We live in a kind of stuck culture and this tends to have a political valence, because the culture we’re stuck in is a progressive one. But you see this even with some more right wing coded ideas, where you have, for example, multiple consecutive generations of people complaining that they were taught by the previous generation that all they needed to do was go to college and they’d have a good career.
What we see in many of these cases is that the complaint has long ago replaced its referent in the dominant culture.
To take a more typical progressive example, a culture organized around the complaint that little girls are told that they should stay in their place and not expect the same opportunities as men has long ago replaced any culture in which that was actually true.
So you end up in these absurd situations where you have entire institutions organized around teaching the opposite of their motivating complaint, but all the while acting as if they’re outsiders, even as they make the rules that in aggregate define the culture.

there are hundreds, maybe thousands of talented “rw” posters out there who can and do combat this in a haphazard, ad hoc way.
but the GOP won’t organize or fund them, so instead they spend $500M on boomer cable TV ads that result in maybe 20-50 votes.
🚨Coordinated Democratic Social Media Campaign to Win Midterms Revealed🚨
CNN’s Van Jones says Democrat operatives coordinated tens of thousands of people through the “American Accountability Network” to amplify their unaffordability message across social media.
“The Republicans never figured out what we were doing,” Jones said.
He described the participants as “online humans, not bots” and claimed the campaign generated 32.5 million daily hits on Instagram, 88.8 million on X and 185 million on Facebook
"Driving the kitchen table affordability message and tying that to Democrats on a positive and Republicans on a negative.....They couldn't get any traction on these cultural war issues anymore because we figured out how to get around all that."

🚨 THE GREATEST THREAT TO ELECTION INTEGRITY ISN’T JUST FRAUD, IT’S THE PERMANENT, WELL-FUNDED PROGRESSIVE NGO GROUND MACHINE THAT PHYSICALLY TURNS OUT VOTERS WHILE REPUBLICANS RELY ON ADS, CONSULTANTS, AND TWEETS.
DataRepublican’s Democracy Files Part 16 (“How the Midterms Were Pulled Off”) shows NGOs bragging, in their own words, about the scale of field ops, registration, youth mobilization, and early voting work that made races “too big to rig.”
In Georgia, Melody Oliphant (Executive Director, Georgia Youth Justice Coalition / GYJC) claimed her group knocked more than 19,000 doors and made nearly 49,000 calls, and that this “absolutely made the difference in Georgia.” The flow chart is simple: DONOR → MVP → GYJC → DOORS. GYJC is a progressive youth organizing group (501(c)(4), Abrams-linked ecosystem) that has long done massive campus/door/phone GOTV and claims credit for youth turnout edges.
This is not one-off. It’s institutional, year-round paid and volunteer organizers, data-driven targeting of young/left-leaning voters, pledge cards, campus phone banks, and coordination across groups. Republicans have institutional blindness, endless conferences on “the message” while the other side builds the supply line that gets bodies to the polls. Citizenship verification remains largely an honor system, the biggest swings keep hitting among young voters and other high-intensity demos.
Republicans can counter this NOW:
Build and fund parallel ground operations (door-knocking, phone banking, registration, early-voting drives) instead of treating elections as ad contests.
Engage young conservatives on campuses and in communities with the same relational, consistent organizing (not just social media).
Support effective local and national GOTV groups that prioritize physical contact and voter turnout over pure messaging.
Demand GOP committees and PACs shift resources from consultants/TV to field infrastructure and data.
Watch, audit, and match the scale in real time, especially in swing areas like Georgia.
