Ok. Now? Now you dig in, start outlining changes you'd make to benefit ALL Albertans and take care of the environment properly. Cancel AISH/ADAP. Offer employment services instead. Give AHS their autonomy back. Give us more professionals. Cancel the private facilities. Give the Watchdogs teeth. Forget these chartered and private schools. They can handle their own business. Equality for all. The list goes on. If you can do these things and more - because I am just that demanding? I'll fight tooth and nail to put you in power. Impressed with your spine. Don't let Alberta down. Please. 🤗💖

Here we go: Fraud, breach of trust and money laundering inside the GOA! Those are the criminal offences now confirmed to be under investigation by the RCMP in connection with procurement practices at Alberta Health and AHS. This isn’t speculation. It’s in writing, from a Crown prosecutor, in a letter filed with the Alberta courts. For nearly two years, the UCP government has tried to distract and avoid accountability but they can’t hide forever. I raised concerns about these contracting practices, and Albertans deserve answers. The government can continue to deflect and deny, but it cannot avoid a criminal investigation. Accountability will come calling. #ableg #abpoli #cdnpoli #ucp #alberta #rcmp #accountability

I find it so odd that when I first asked gts if this was a real truth post; he said it was. Why does he now say it wasn't? Curious.

Where This Leaves Us. Wyant tells us who signed the Dec 23 letter. And who he acted for. Wyant doesn't tell us why. Or what Alberta Health's checking found. The unsent-letter claim? Still an allegation. No government response reported. Tomorrow? The $70 million order the reporter was asking about. Be well. Be loud. Be love. ☺️🤗💖

What Came After. Apr 7-8, 2026? A notice of PLANNED procurement appears on tender sites. "Planned Alberta Chartered Surgical Facility Strategy." Respond By: Dec 31, 2026. Bidders Listed: NONE Awards Listed: NONE A notice that a process is planned. Not a contract.

What the Minister Said About the Cancellation. matt jones, In the legislature in early Dec 2025? "Concerns were raised about the procurement practices and procedures and handling of conflicts of interest in AHS procurement." In a written statement to Pattison Media? The decision "was based on several factors," Including "the significant time that had elapsed since the proponent was selected," Which "made the original economic assumptions and costing outdated." Both are on the record.

Premier Called for an Investigation. (Wyant, p.34) "any further progress related to the CSFs was halted," Pending Wyant's report and the Auditor General's. (Wyant was appointed Mar 3, 2025. p.6) CSFs = chartered surgical facilities. Private surgery centres paid by Alberta. Nov 28, 2025? AHS cancelled the Red Deer and Lethbridge procurements.

This letter is about the surgery centres. Not the medicine. Wyant? Once Alberta Health received the files. They "were sent to Ms sewell who continued due diligence." Wyant interviewed both nickerson and sewell. His report gives no reason for the order. And no result from sewell's checking. Those few lines on p.34 are all it says.

Dec 23, 2024. (Wyant, p.34) chris nickerson. An Alberta Health assistant deputy minister. "acting on the direction of" Alberta Health's christine sewell? Writes to AHS's CEO. Alberta Health will take over "due diligence" (checking out a company before you sign) On private surgery centres. "effective immediately AHS shall cease any due diligence underway…" All documents go to Alberta Health. Out loud. They said that out loud.

Where That Stands. It's her allegation. Not tested in court. Yet. Globe reports no specific response to it. Premier's spokesman? sam blackett. Declined to answer the Globe's questions. Saying: "Most of these questions provided contain a host of oftentimes wildly inaccurate or misleading information." Sure, buddy. The Globe doesn't say which questions he meant. Separately? iskiw said in a statement he "has been subjected to unfair innuendo and false allegations" And followed "all required and documented rules." Still doesn't answer how you and your wife ended up with a 12% stake in a potential multi-million dollar company. prasad's lawyer declined to answer the Globe's questions. Wyant's report doesn't mention the letter.

An Unsent Letter. (ALLEGATION, per the Globe) The Globe reports the law firm - Borden Ladner Gervais? Recommended the health agency PUSH the owners of the proposed Red Deer and Lethbridge surgery centres. For answers about "how and when Mr. iskiw obtained a 12-per-cent stake, and whether he or Mr. prasad had received 'anything of value' from Mr. mraiche." Globe's wording, from a confidential email it obtained. AHS drafted a letter. BUT "in December the health ministry instructed the agency not to send the letter," Mentzelopoulos alleges.

Meanwhile, CEO Escalated. Thankfully. (Wyant, p.34) She told the Deputy Minister of Health. She hired an outside law firm. The firm hired a national consulting company to run a forensic audit. That's a deep records investigation. The report says the engagement's terms were "limited by restricting interviews with Mr. prasad, Mr. iskiw or Mr. mraiche." Who set that limit? Wyant doesn't say.

THEN? (Wyant, p.13) prasad OFFERED to retire. He was reinstated first though. THEN submitted his retirement notice. He left at the end of Nov 2024. SEE: Who was in the room for that decision? Part 0, Part 2.

What Happened Next? (Wyant, p.12-13) Our CEO at the time? Athana Mentzelopoulos. Brought the statement to the attention of darren hedley. Then Associate Deputy Minister of Health. prasad reported to him. prasad had been on loan from AHS to Alberta Health since Dec 4, 2023; remember. hedley put prasad on administrative leave. AHS put sokol on leave at the same time. Paid or unpaid? Wyant doesn't say. Separately? Wyant writes that prasad "worked at AH [Alberta Health] until October 30, 2024, when he discovered that he was denied access to his government computer." That's unusual for an employer to allow.
