What would constitute a pattern? 10, 100, 1,000, 10,000?

The 5 year survival rate for glioblastoma patients that use standard of care is 4 out of 100. 4 out of 6 at 3 years may be small, but it's still huge.

I think you could at least draw the conclusion that this is worth looking into. Which I believe is the point of the paper. No conclusions were drawn or proposed by the paper, they just stated some observations they made.

If there was a drug that had these numbers doctors wouldn't be commenting on the small sample size (which the authors are extremely upfront about), they'd be eagerly anticipating the next larger trial. No current Standard of Care for GBM has a 3 year survival rate.

Yes. She's doing well! Thank you. Mostly she has issues created by the traditional "treatments", no cancer issues.

Yes, it is really unfortunate that most people with early stage cancer don't know about metabolic treatments. For many people they could be enough on their own. But patients get rushed into treatment these days without knowing their options.

1,600 people a day die from cancer in the US. I don't think the medical community should be claiming they are so definitively sure about cancer treatments.

Sure, a cell turning cancerous is a sliding scale. So "some" cancers (read: earlier stages) may use lipids. They're more like a normal cell. But most late stage cancers lean towards glucose. For fatty acid oxidation you need healthy mitochondria.

That makes sense. The more damaged mitochondria are the less they function like normal cells. When half the mitochondria are gone, like in late stage cancers, minimal fatty acids or keystones are probably being used.
