Missed the Optimum Mainnet Conversation? Last week, @get_optimum announced its launch on Ethereum Mainnet! As part of the launch, @MurielMedard and @kentlinyy joined @blocmates for a livestream to discuss Optimum's mainnet launch and how its mump2p technology is helping data move across Ethereum 2โ€“3x faster, boosting validator performance and network health. With $3.4B in Ethereum stake already being boosted by mump2p, there's a lot to learn about what Optimum is building. If you haven't watched the livestream yet, catch up here. ๐Ÿ‘‡

this is more than just speed. the fact is we shouldn't view latency as just a technical problem. we're talking about the economics behind getting blockchain data where it needs to go. how do you create incentives around something most users never even think about? ๐Ÿงต soon:)
this is making optimum interesting to me tbh people from different parts of the world, contributing resources to solve a problem together, with economic incentives tying it all together. and in this case, making blockchain communication faster. behold! the latency marketplace!

Kraken's parent already sells perps to US clients. What Hyperliquid announced on Monday is a change of venue. @Payward laid out the plan on Sept 16. Bitnomial, its CFTC-regulated exchange and clearinghouse, would deploy the markets, NinjaTrader Clearing would carry the accounts, and only allowlisted users could trade. Hyperliquid would run the order book and record every trade onchain. So the licensed company keeps KYC, clearing and the customer relationship, and hands off the matching, the one piece that lives or dies on speed. Block propagation is my day job, so this is the part that got me. A regulated US firm decided a public chain can match orders well enough for its own clients. HIP-3* is still testnet only and nothing here is approved yet. If it gets approved, I think at least two more CFTC-registered firms announce their own HIP-3* deployments within 12 months.
Payward, the parent company of Kraken, announced its intention to be the first CFTC-regulated deployer on HIP-3* markets. Payward will use Hyperliquid as the infrastructure layer to deploy perpetual futures markets for US clients. Subject to regulatory approval, Bitnomial, Paywardโ€™s CFTC-regulated DCM and DCO, would act as the HIP-3* deployer: creating, owning, and administering the markets and clearing and settling the contracts. If approved, NinjaTrader Clearing, Paywardโ€™s CFTC-registered FCM, would carry client accounts. HIP-3 will support optional deployer configuration for permissioned markets in a future network upgrade. This set of additional deployer functionality is collectively called HIP-3*. At its core, HIP-3* activation involves an onchain allowlist managed by the deployer or its sub-deployers. The functionality is strictly additive to HIP-3; its use is optional and up to the deployer. Existing markets remain unchanged. The initial release is available on testnet, where specifications are preliminary and subject to change based on feedback. Hyperliquid is a neutral infrastructure layer with the goal of supporting large parts of the financial system. HIP-3* gives deployers additional functionality to operate deployments consistent with the requirements applicable to them. As with HIP-3, HIP-3* deployers are independent operators who use Hyperliquid as the onchain infrastructure layer for their own markets, while retaining control and responsibility over their deployment.

Community FIRST - Let's go! ~ or the sad story of ritual NB: It's not even about the dumbass airdrop @ritualnet did, it's about putting ''community first'' (wait for it) ... ''in line to get RAW dogged'' ๐ŸŒญ๐Ÿ• Jokes asside ... It's about EVERYTHING else that preceded the TGE, so here's the post mortem story and their mistakes: A) creating a community based on FEAR - you speak out = get DEMOTED or banned ~ i took a chance with this and put my ass on the line, risking 1 year and a half of effort when i started raising questions about scamPloPLo - i'm so glad i did it though, since it saved a lot of people precious real funds (nft mint was 0.1 ETH lol) B) encouraging tons of GLAZING - some of the mods and CM loved to build a CULT of personality around themselves - if any of you see this and you're moderating or planning to moderate some DC server in the future, for the love of God, please stop doing this shit C) blatant FAVORITISM & double standards - if you were korean, chinese or perhaps from the NAD gang you were automatically considered HIGH value and you had to put in 90% less effort D) refusing to take any feedback - almost a complete BREAK of communication for the past 10 months - promising to answer questions during VCs or AMAs but always dodging them E) promoting a scam NFT collection with the main ritual foundation and the community manager account (that's when most of the community realized we're heading towards disaster ๐Ÿ’€) F) absolutely ZERO legit ecosystem partners or real builders that had made a dApp using ritual sdk - all the ecosystem dApps they paraded pre mainnet with were made/vibecoded by hardworking community members or by the moderators themselves H) Attempted to do an ICO but then scrapped it without saying anything - poor management of socials - EG: Coinbase announced premarket and we literally had nothing on Discord or on Ritual X regarding this ~ and the LIST can go on .... unfortunately ... a DEAD on arrival chain Also, don't think people didn't see these signs earlier. They did. But they were also afraid to throw their efforts down the drain in a year of 2026 were people got more disapointed and hungry than ever. Most of you know me for a while now - I never FUD or criticize just to farm attention nor do I like to gravedance - and this time I'm writing this because I simply DO NOT want to see this kind of shitshow be repeated in the future (although most likely it will). Learn your lessons. PEACE!

payment apps like @tryavvio are becoming a bigger part of the stablecoin ecosystem, and i think we'll see a lot more of them. the advantages are pretty clear โ†“ โ€บ faster settlements โ€บ lower transaction costs โ€บ easier cross border payments โ€บ access to financial services across different markets but i don't think speed and lower fees are enough to build the next generation of payment infrastructure. there's another part that deserves just as much attention. privacy. what's the point of making payments faster and cheaper if sensitive financial data remains exposed on public blockchains? as more fintechs start using stablecoin rails, protecting balances, transactions and customer information becomes increasingly important. this is why i see @SeismicSys playing an important role in this transition. seismic is building infrastructure where privacy is part of the foundation, rather than something developers need to add later. and seeing payment platforms like avvio already working with seismic makes this direction even more relevant. we've spent years making onchain payments faster and cheaper. now we need to make them private too.

interesting, out of 852 @ritualfnd airdrop eligible wallets 3 persons claimed 25% of total $RITUAL airdrop from different 210 wallets within few seconds after it went live so total of 12.7M tokens out of total 50M airdrop pool went to these 3 persons person/cluster 1 : 0x97cb7de521f67926e48e87881284c8c4256586be received 7.5M $RITUAL tokens claimed from 126 different wallets out of which 102 wallets sent within 30 seconds and rest 24 within 1minute which cannot be done manually person/cluster 2 : 0x6fa34d260152df28bd51cb5b872b71c7e3061e63 received 2.9M $RITUAL airdrop tokens claimed from 47 different wallets within 4-5seconds which clearly shows these were automated (botted transactions) person/cluster 3 : 0x5efdf02e21bb10cb0c232b33438eebed490f78b2 received 2.3M $RITUAL airdrop tokens claimed from 37 different wallets within 1-5 minutes that is total of 12.5M tokens which represents 25% of total airdrop pool keep in mind only 409 wallets have claimed till now and 443 are yet to claim, so its gonna go more ugly and also there are lot of small clusters where few wallets received from 5-10 different claimers but those are community friends helping each other deposit since MEXC is restricted in many regions so we can ignore them
โ€ข @ritualfnd airdrop has been disappointing they promised 0.5% 50M tokens to community but : > only 852 wallets are eligible > only 172 wallets have claimed yet > total 9.6M $RITUAL > total worth $211k right now top claimers : 186,939 $RITUAL ร— (10wallets) 109,047 $RITUAL x (1wallet) 62,313 $RITUAL ร— (92wallets) 28,040 $RITUAL ร— (69wallets) i built a site for top airdrop claimers link : ritualtrack.vercel.app/ its been almost 4hours since ritual went live and token has been dumping aggressively from $800m fdv to $220m fdv now were you eligible ?

I tried onboarding a Web2 developer friend to @circle Agent Wallet. He had a Nigerian bank account but no card, and had never held crypto or used a blockchain wallet. Funding his agent's USDC treasury became a hurdle. So I built agent-fiat-mcp, connecting Circle Agent Wallet on @arc Mainnet to Nigerian bank rails via @paj_cash. Now he can fund his agent with naira and let it pay Nigerian bank accounts from its USDC treasury, with his approval.
I told my AI agent to send me money for lunch (4.3 USDC)๐Ÿ™‚ my request. Outcome

Encrypted operations can require considerably more processing than their ordinary counterparts. A system designed for real financial activity must therefore optimise its cryptographic operations, manage workloads efficiently, and keep transaction processing practical. @primus_labs has highlighted its AutoHoG FHE engine as part of the technology behind confidential on chain finance. The broader challenge is to make encrypted computation efficient enough to support repeated financial operations without compromising the protection that makes the technology valuable. Key management is equally important. Keeping data encrypted during computation does not mean every participant should be able to decrypt the result. A secure implementation needs clear rules governing who can access protected information and under what conditions. The strength of the overall system depends on how well these permissions, cryptographic components, and application level controls are designed. For individual users, the benefit is greater control over financial privacy. Public blockchains make it possible to inspect transaction activity, but that visibility can also reveal balances and financial behaviour. Confidential computation can reduce the amount of sensitive information exposed while allowing users to continue interacting with on chain services. For institutions, the implications are even broader. Financial organisations often need to protect portfolio positions, transaction sizes, and operational strategies. Exposing these details on a public blockchain can create commercial risks and make certain activities difficult to conduct. FHE offers a way to process sensitive financial information without making its contents publicly readable by default. Developers also gain a foundation for building applications where privacy is part of the systemโ€™s design rather than an additional feature. As the infrastructure matures, confidential computation could support a wider range of financial services that need both blockchain functionality and stronger protection for sensitive data. The important development here is not simply the ability to hide transaction amounts. It is the ability to keep financial information encrypted while the system continues to use it. Through FHE powered Confidential Finance, Primus Labs is bringing that capability into practical on chain activity, from private asset transfers to yield generation. The technology still has engineering challenges to overcome, particularly around performance, key management, and secure integration. But its direction is clear.
What if a blockchain could process your financial activity without exposing the details behind it? That is the problem Primus Labs is working to solve with Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), a technology that allows data to be processed while it remains encrypted. With its Confidential Finance product now live on BNB Chain, Primus is putting this cryptographic approach to work, bringing private transfers and yield generation to on chain finance. ๐‘ผ๐’๐’…๐’†๐’“๐’”๐’•๐’‚๐’๐’…๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐‘ญ๐‘ฏ๐‘ฌ ๐’‚๐’๐’… ๐’๐‘ฒ๐‘ญ๐‘ฏ๐‘ฌ Fully Homomorphic Encryption allows computations to happen directly on encrypted data without decrypting it first. Normally, a system needs access to readable data to process it. FHE changes that requirement by allowing mathematical operations to be performed on ciphertext, the encrypted form of the original information. The result remains encrypted until an authorised party decrypts it. The technical challenge is making these operations work securely and efficiently. FHE schemes use mathematical structures that preserve the relationships needed for computation, even after data has been encrypted. Depending on the scheme, these operations can introduce computational overhead and noise that must be managed to keep the results accurate. More advanced schemes support a wider range of computations, including complex operations that require multiple stages of processing. ZKFHE brings this approach together with zero knowledge cryptography. FHE makes computation on encrypted data possible, while zero knowledge proofs can establish that certain statements or operations are valid without revealing the private information behind them. Combining the two can help applications protect sensitive data while providing cryptographic assurance about relevant operations. ๐‘ฏ๐’๐’˜ ๐‘ท๐’“๐’Š๐’Ž๐’–๐’” ๐‘ท๐’–๐’•๐’” ๐‘ญ๐‘ฏ๐‘ฌ ๐’•๐’ ๐‘พ๐’๐’“๐’Œ @primus_labs is applying FHE to on chain finance through its Confidential Finance product on BNB Chain. The aim is to let users transfer assets and earn yield while keeping sensitive financial information, including transaction amounts and positions, confidential. The process begins when a user shields supported assets, converting them into encrypted versions that can be used within the confidential system. Once the assets are represented in encrypted form, the system can perform supported operations on their encrypted values without exposing the underlying amounts during every computation. Primusโ€™s Confidential Vault extends this approach to yield generation. Users can put supported assets to work through existing DeFi strategies while keeping their positions private. This is significant because confidentiality should not mean giving up access to financial applications. The goal is to preserve the utility of on chain assets while limiting the exposure of sensitive information. FHE is computationally demanding, so performance is a major part of making it practical. Encrypted operations can require considerably more processing than their ordinary counterparts. A system designed for real financial activity must therefore optimise its cryptographic operations, manage workloads efficiently, and keep transaction processing practical. Blockchains do not have to expose every financial detail to remain useful. Primus is working towards a system where computation can continue, assets can remain productive, and sensitive information does not have to become public by default. That is what makes FHE worth paying attention to: it moves blockchain privacy beyond hiding data and towards making private data usable.

I used to think faster internet was just about watching YouTube without buffering or downloading games quicker. NEWSFLASH โšก๏ธ: all that changed when I started learning about @get_optimum, and it completely changed how I think about speed. In crypto, speed isn't just about convenience. It's an economic advantage. The crazy part is that Wall Street figured this out years ago. Banks and trading firms spend millions of dollars just to receive information a few milliseconds before everyone else. Those tiny time differences help them execute trades first, find better prices, and make more money. That's why people say, "Speed is money."
