$SOFI is far superior to $HOOD and it's not even close.
One company crushes earnings and raises guidance; the other doesn't.
One is accelerating growth… one isn’t
ROBINHOOD $HOOD JUST REPORTED Q3 EARNINGS
- Revenue: $1.4B, in line with expectations of $1.42B 🟡
- EPS: $0.51, missing expectations of $0.56 đź”´ (incl. $0.07 loss)
- Net Income: $476M (-14% YoY)
- Adj EBITDA: $808M (+9% YoY)
- Transaction-based: $867M (+19% YoY)
- Total Platform Assets: $396B (+19% YoY)
- Net Deposits: $15.7B
I didn’t list to the call yet, but 25% growth for the tech platform is amazing
This stock honestly should be up 20+% right now, I might buy more today
Listening to the $SOFI earnings call, they guided +25% growth for the tech platformđź‘€
This is one of the only bearish thesis points and they're displaying confidence and directly answered a question about the guided growth.
Great point made, all of their growth requires a great technology platform.
I don’t have time to cover $SOFI earnings in detail, but I can’t complain about a single thing
Revenue beat âś…
EPS beat âś…
EBITDA ✅ Up 70% to $469.8M
Members ✅ Up 35% to a record 17.1M
Products ✅ Up 44% to a record 26.7M
Originations ✅ Record $16.9B in the quarter
Non-lending ✅ Financial Services revenue up 25% to $525.1M

Raised 2027 outlook to $6.4B revenue, $2.24B adjusted EBITDA and $0.90 EPS
This was an A+ quarter
This makes zero sense for Anthropic.
Why fight $RDDT in court when you could just sign a licensing deal?
$GOOGL and OpenAI already pay for Reddit's data. It’s going to b hard to argue it should be free for you when your biggest competitors are paying for it.
It’s a losing battle and a waste of time
I finally found out why $RDDT fell 7% today.
Looks like the market was betting Anthropic would become Reddit’s next big data licensing customer. But Anthropic’s S-1 flagged the $RDDT lawsuit as a major risk, with no settlement in sight.
$GOOGL and OpenAI already pay for Reddit’s data. Is the Anthropic deal just delayed, or is the market overestimating Reddit’s AI opportunity?
Would you buy this dip or stay on the sidelines?
I bought $NU today after the 20%+ dip, and also added some $RDDT and $GRAB alongside it.
These are three great companies getting sold off. I’ve been holding cash for exactly this, so I’m happy to buy the dip.
If you're curious how I feel about the $NU news , I'll link my full breakdown below 👇👇👇
I spent all morning do research on $NU and Brazil and honestly don’t see any major concerns
I think this a massive over reaction
Here’s why:

$NFLX continues to get more attractive!
The last earnings weren't great, but dips like this eventually become opportunities.
At what price would you call it an opportunity?

$NU EPS chart during Lula's most recent term btw…
Was there any reason $GRAB was down today?
I honestly didn’t see any news and Oil prices were actually down today
Is it just sentiment or did I miss something?
100% agree with this take
I think a lot of companies in Brazil might get negativity affected, but the most well ran companies are great opportunities
$MELI and $NU are two of the companies that come to mind

I'm from Brazil, this is an overreaction due to elections. Some good stocks to take a look at are INTR, XP and of course NU! Current government is really not the best but there are great companies in the country that are taking unnecessary hits

We have the most overvalued company $TSLA pumping while every single undervalued AI company crashing.
These are wild times that we live in
The market truly is more irrational than we can stay solvent
