If I wanted to avoid pork and pray to Allah five times a day, I’d go to one of the 54 Islamic countries, certainly not Europe or America. Why the fuck do you come here?

.@deepseek_ai I've been reviewing my logs & spend over the recent weeks, it looks like cached tokens aren't being charged at the advertised rate - they're charged at the regular rate. Cost is 6x! Is there an issue your side, or has the price for cached tokens changed recently?

Make sure you logout of all web sessions before bed and change your passwords you’ll thank me later also turn on 2FA PHP has a major exploit and they’re gonna be stealing passwords like crazy. You may want to change passwords for anything you use in cross sessions such as Google and Others

I was a programmer my entire life, worked extremely hard, very successful, my code made millions… Last night, I spoke to Xcode and told it to create a Swift app for MacOS that had a drop zone for HTML files and to convert the animation into 4k still screenshots and assemble them into a ProRes 422 .MOV. Kept editing in Final Cut Pro and 20 minutes later, 2400 lines of code were written and it works absolutely beautifully. It added common quality of life features without asking. I do not recommend anyone start down the traditional programming path. AI is the disruptive technology that turns entire industries upside down. Learn accordingly.
vibecoders fuck off and go to hell if you use generative AI to program for you, you're not a programmer

I honestly don’t care at all that I spend 30 years of my life learning syntax and now that knowledge is essentially useless. Frankly, I’m relieved that I don’t need to care about it anymore. That stuff never really mattered anyways. Code was always just a means to an end. All I care about is building products that users love. Now I can do that faster. That means I can have bigger impact. If anything, software engineers should all be celebrating. I don’t understand why you’d “mourn” not needing to write code. The code was never the point.

"LLMs can't do math" "LLMs can't do new math" "LLMs can't do interesting math" "LLMs can't do open-ended interesting math" "LLMs can't do affirmative open-ended interesting math" "LLMs can't do highly abstract, non-easily-verifiable affirmative open-ended interesting math"
So the point of the stochastic parrot argument is that LLMs have zero understanding of language or anything else, they are just regurgitating training data. This hypothesis has been thoroughly disproven by LLMs solving millennium problems our smartest mathematicians have failed.

We went from Math Olympiads to Millennium Prize problems in 12 months. Yeah, definitely a bubble.

AI has solved everything and you understand this if you aren’t stupid. Code is solved. Writing is solved. Yes there’s some kinks but they’re being worked out. Math is obviously solved, have you seen how depressed the mathematicians are on here? Robotics is solved, we now are able to kinda fold laundry and half ass clean a kitchen with robots now. You might ask “but what about the famous open problem of ordering DoorDash from the CLI, can AI do that?” and the answer to that is yes as well. Biology, chemistry, physics, it’s all solved. The only thing out there AI can’t quite do yet is make a bill splitter app…I’m afraid after that it’s completely over
