Good evening you legends, I hope you're all ok and you're having an amazing Saturday night. This one is a friend request, I have a few to go on but this was first. Those of you who know me, know this is one I am thrilled to do. So tonight is all about... The Doors! As requested by @Cazzpink I hope you enjoy, I won't list which are my faves, it's The Doors! They're ALL my faves. So kicking off at number one, the magnificent ~ GLORIA ~ dirty version, this gets naughty but don't blame me.

I'm extremely sorry. I genuinely am. Could we have a list of unknown people mugged in terrifying attacks too?

We chucked on 'Whatever happened to the likely lads' as background. In one early episode, a hostess of the newly aspiring 'middle class', relates that she was 'attacked' in the boiler room' It transpires, down the joke route, that *they* were the attackers. *Cue laughter

Men can rape us. Legally.
The Helsinki Court of Appeal has cleared three men who raped a heavily intoxicated 17-year-old girl in a wooded area in Finland. The girl was so drunk that she had actually been taken to the hospital for intoxication just before the assault. The three men then raped her in the woods right outside the hospital. Both the District Court and the Court of Appeal completely dismissed all charges and let the men walk free without any convictions. Judges ruled that despite her severe intoxication, CCTV footage showed she was still legally capable of forming and expressing consent. The court decided that the men could have believed the teenager was agreeing to having sex, ultimately freeing them from all criminal responsibility. It is completely fucked up that a court thinks a teenager drunk enough to need a hospital is somehow sober enough to consent to three grown men. Being drunk does not mean consent. Not saying no does not mean consent. If someone is too intoxicated to care for themselves, they cannot give real consent, period.

This is Amsterdam! Europe & the West have become our biggest problem in the Middle East. They turned into a breeding ground for terrorists, like this idiot who’s cheering for Hezbollah!

A quarter of a million. Of our money.
🚨Speaker’s lavish foreign trips and convention-breaking vote choices leave neutrality claims looking threadbare. Former Labour MP Sir Lindsay Hoyle has billed taxpayers well over a quarter of a million pounds for business-class flights and five-star hotels since becoming Commons Speaker—never economy, with bills that include roughly £40,000 for an Australia trip, nearly £23,000 on a Cayman Islands stay at £679 a night, and chauffeur-driven cars in Los Angeles—while, in February 2024, he overrode the Clerk’s explicit advice and long-standing convention on an SNP opposition day to let a Labour amendment kill the original Gaza ceasefire motion outright. The chamber descended into chaos, with government and SNP walkouts plus more than fifty MPs signing no-confidence motions, after which Hoyle admitted the episode was a “shambles.” He keeps the robes, the official apartment, and the flights; everyone else gets the silence and the invoices. If the Speaker can shred centuries of procedure to protect one party and then charge the public for luxury travel without real consequence, what is left of the pretence that the chair stands above politics?
