Few will have had or go on to have the impact that Malcolm had through identifying talented players. One of the very best and an outstanding person too. RIP Malcolm Elias 🏴
Malcolm Elias, the man responsible for developing Gareth Bale and Trent Alexander-Arnold, has died after a short illness.
Welshman Elias was born in 1953 and was key in the development of his compatriot Bale at the Southampton academy 🏴

Liverpool always seem to get stuff like this right. Take 10 minutes out of your day to watch this, you won’t regret it.. ☺️
Moments young Isaac or his family will never forget. Well done to everyone involved. 👏❤️
Definitely one of the very best. Synergy with the head coach is crucial to sustained success and Txiki and Pep have always been fully and clearly aligned. I always learned so much in his presence and am grateful for the time he afforded me during my time at CFG. Good luck 🙏🏼
Disfrútalo Michel. El club ha recorrido un largo camino bajo su liderazgo. Buenos recuerdos de trabajar con usted y espero ver la Champions League de fútbol en Montilivi. Buena suerte amigo.
Congratulations @alexrobertson03. Good to see this finally over the line.

"There is too much talk about statistics. I see obsessed footballers and there is no worse mistake. Statistics is just some information. There are players who make the team work and that does not appear in statistics. I prefer to tell them: You play well or badly, for this or for that reason."

Just back from @UnitedCoaches Convention in Anaheim preparing to shovel snow.
Here are 2 of my guests - only one of them was concerned about their hair with the headsets on.

I’m fortunate to have played a small part in Des’ journey and feel incredibly humbled by his kind words in this article.
He’s shown his quality many times already and knowing him as I do, am certain he will continue to evolve and fulfil his ambition of working at the very top
• First-team experience with Chris Wilder at Oxford
• Youngest head coach in A-League history
• New Zealand opportunity he couldn’t resist
• Assistant to Patrick Kisnorbo in Melbourne
• Becoming Mumbai City head coach

Really enjoyed working with key staff at some clubs in San Diego as we strive to actualise @TheECNL executive leadership’s vision for continued excellence. Look forward to seeing some of the learning actualised at clubs. #MoreThanALeague
There have been some fantastic episodes on @WeAreTheOverlap and @GNev2 has done brilliant to give the wider world an insight into the reality of the game on the inside! This episode with Dele is heartbreaking but could be the most impactful of all.
