From Genesis to Alpenglow! 🏔️
As a @solana validator since the Testnet days, it's been incredible to witness the network's journey and contribute to its growth through every stage. This feels like one of the most meaningful milestones yet.
Now back to producing blocks! ⚡
Alpenglow is coming to testnet this week. 🧵
Testnet exercises the exact migration devnet and mainnet-beta will run.
The Alpenglow community cluster rehearsed the migration numerous times and has been running Alpenglow for over 4 months.
Now Alpenglow moves to the formal activation path.
Hours left to vote. Your voice directly shapes @solana's long-term health. Don't sit this one out.
And a reminder for stakers: even if you're not a validator, you can still vote independently, regardless of your validator's expressed vote. That said, ideally you're staking with validators who share your views and values in the first place.
📡 Governance update
Last Sunday Chainode Tech has voted YES on all three Solana active governance proposals:
* SGP-001 The Solana Constitution - a framework for Solana governance and stake-weighted decision-making.
* SGP-002 Double Disinflation - reduces future SOL emissions by doubling disinflation from 15% to 30%.
* SGP-003 Resource and Inclusion Fee - splits Solana fees into a fixed inclusion fee and a resource fee that scales with usage and is 100% burned.
We strongly believe that, despite differing opinions among some stakeholders about these proposals, having these proposals approved is ultimately for the greater good of the Solana network.
As a delegator, you can cast your own vote with your own stake weight if you have a different opinion than us or the validator you have staked with (otherwise is not needed) and track the proposals’ progress here:

Reminder: dedicated devices matter
If you're building on Monad, look into the dedicated device subsidy program 👇
Introducing the Monad dedicated device subsidy program
Monad Foundation will be subsidizing the cost of dedicated signing laptops, for multisig, treasury, and other critical operations, to all protocol teams with at least $2.5M of TVL on Monad.
Your signing machine should NEVER be the same as the one you use for everyday browsing, coding, or taking calls.

Spinning up the validators, planting the genesis flag, counting all 1000 epochs on @solana! 🚀
1000 epochs later, and we're still doing the same thing we've been doing since day one: obsessing over Chainode Tech's validator performance and doing our part to keep the network fast & resilient.
No side quests. No shady yield games. No chasing every shiny meta.
Just relentless uptime, solid infra, fast upgrades, and maximizing rewards for our stakers - the right way.
Here's to the first 1000. The progress has been massive. Onward. 🫡
Validating since genesis.

We have decided to support this initiative and have reduced our RGP to 100 MIST, which will help make Sui blockchain a more competitive chain in terms of fees.
Let the transactions flow in! 🔥
We are excited to announce that @AftermathFi, the perp exchange and @SuiNetwork validator, are proposing an 80% cut to Sui's RGP.
We ask all @SuiNetwork validators to reduce their RGP to ≤ 100 MIST.
We believe that this is both the right step and the right moment to align Sui with the rest of the market.
Here's why: Sui today charges ~6x more than Solana for a simple transfer, despite having the competitive edge when it comes to faster finality, parallel execution, and greater flexibility through PTBs.
A single order on Phoenix (Solana) costs $0.0011. On Aftermath, $0.0018. Both products have been heavily optimized for their respective stack. The remaining cost imbalance is due to how either chain charges for computation.
Shouldn't we be incentivizing on-chain activity?
After less than two months, Aftermath already consumes ~10% of Sui's daily gas. ~216k txs/day, ~2.1M on-chain events/day, 15 live markets across crypto, equities, and commodities. All fully on-chain. All paying gas on every quote, cancel, and fill.
Lowering gas doesn't just save money for existing users; it unlocks entirely new participants - market makers, institutions, agents traders - who were previously priced out of high-frequency trading on Sui.
Let's make Sui the home for onchain financial trading.
