This #Budget2026 is just short term fudges with no long term solution to Britain's problems. Fiddling whilst Rome burns... Or in this case, it's Rotherham, Rhyl and Roehampton. After @reformparty_uk put forward a comprehensive rescue plan for our economy earlier this week, this Government's 'plan' is weak. Same old, same old. "Here's £100 so you don't think about the rest..." - it's deception.

In a few hours the Chancellor stands up. Before he does, remember who is holding the pen. John Healey. Twenty nine years on the taxpayer. In 2012, with 1,400 children raped across his own borough over sixteen years, he was "not convinced" an inquiry would help them. Then he sued the UKIP MEP who said it out loud, and took fifty four thousand pounds off her. And kept it. He did not pay the council tax on his second home. An "administrative error". He intended to claim the £1,469 back on expenses. And in June he resigned as Defence Secretary because the government would not commit to 3 per cent of GDP on defence. By his own letter, the country could not be defended. Today he is Chancellor, and he is already briefing that he will shelve the 3 per cent. So the man who walked out because Britain could not be defended is now the man who decides what Britain can afford. That is who signs the cheques. That is who decides how much of your money you keep. Listen to what he says. Then watch what he does with it.
My Budget today will help families with the pressures they face now. It will back businesses and entrepreneurs, invest in Britain's future, and strengthen our national security. A plan to get through this moment and build a stronger Britain.

Oi @GBNEWS ! Why are you interviewing Labour Minister @jreynoldsMP the 'fake Solicitor' on your Channel this morning. Publicly claiming to be a Solicitor [which he did] when you're not is a criminal offence. Do you condone such appalling conduct ? If so, shame on you.

I can't stand that Socialist @KevinCraigUK bloke who pops up on @GBNEWS from time to time. Too often. He takes 'smug' to a whole new stratospheric level. 💀

The Wetherspoons story about the poppy is a lie. It is not their policy to ban anyone wearing a poppy, it was one manager who has since been disciplined.

This is a massive slap in the face for the Chancellor and Burnham. The wheels are completely coming off Labour’s economic plan before the Budget has even been delivered 🤭 When your top business voice walks out on you, it’s a vote of no confidence. And the Treasury’s own entrepreneurship adviser, Alex Depledge MBE, didn’t go quietly either. She delivered a blistering critique, warning that Labour treats innovation as nothing more than a “sideshow.” Instead of backing the wealth creators who actually drive growth, she claims the Treasury is obsessed with propping up dying industries. It’s clear that Healey is preparing a raid on business incentives, likely gutting crucial reliefs like Business Asset Disposal Relief. We all know you can’t tax a country into growth, no matter how hard this Treasury tries to prove otherwise. This is Burnham dragging us straight back to the 1970s. Utterly clueless.

This will be just the start. Once a government can simply take money from your account they won’t stop with the justifications.
🚨 BREAKING: John Healey will announce at the Budget that HMRC will be given powers to seize money directly from the bank accounts of people who fail to pay their tax

Another Labour MP squirming on @GBNEWS. Can't answer any questions put to him & acted like a rabbit in headlights. Claims nobody can question Burnham & Healy's commitment to defence. I can, they would rather give money to corrupt foreign govts & illegal economic immigrants.

This match commentator + 2 co-commentators combo on @tntsports drives me mad. It's like you're having a quiet pint in the pub and three blokes sitting at a table next to you never stop bloody talking to each other. Loudly. 😫

Yesterday, I tweeted about how ridiculous the media are for trying to smear Reform when a senior Labour figure is on trial for alleged rape And what's funny is, most people thought I meant a different guy Because there isn't just 1 Labour guy on trial for alleged rape.
