These investments will help address pressing infrastructure needs, support growing communities and improve access to essential services for residents across the province. This is what it means to build Canada Strong.
We’re delivering the infrastructure that Manitobans need.
Through the Build Communities Strong Fund, we’re investing nearly $700 million in housing, health care, and education-related infrastructure for the province.
As a first step, we announced $500 million to support the third phase of the North End Water Pollution Control Centre upgrades in Winnipeg, the largest infrastructure project in the city’s history, and a critical investment to unlock more homes and greater economic opportunity across the city.
This is how we’re building stronger communities and a stronger Canada.
