Delivering results for constituents translates into support on election day.
Rasmusson was a big overperformer Tuesday. Here's him against Schutz. Schutz won SD 9 by 33.5; Rasmusson won it by 39.3, beating Schutz by 5.8. The next best GOP Senate candidate (Napper, SD 63) only beat Schutz by 1.3, and only 11 GOP Senate candidates outran Schutz at all.

Inbox: Minnesota Senate Republicans have chosen Jordan Rasmusson from Fergus Falls as the GOP's next minority leader. That's a change from Mark Johnson of East Grand Forks after big losses to the Senate GOP ranks.

Business and labor don’t always agree. On permitting reform, they do. The heads of @PAChamber and @420Steamfitters are urging Congress to pass the bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act. We agree. It’s time for America to build again. bit.ly/4By6Pi6

This is the right take Politics and sports are the only two professions that have a huge audience that believe they have all the answers. This is an example of what happens when you don’t disabuse people of the fantasy that there isn’t years of training and experience necessary

Why should everyday Americans care about permitting reform? Because, as Arnold Ventures Co-Chair Laura Arnold points out, it drives every component of affordability in this country—from the electric bill to the grocery aisle. Watch here: youtu.be/FuJ5PnnIlbk?t=2153

New: ProPublica’s Jake Pearson lost $10,000 mimicking the betting patterns of a problem gambler on DraftKings to test the company’s “responsible gaming” safeguards. One week in, he was invited to become a VIP — and faced little pushback as he spiraled. propub.li/4dGHrwr

Former Minnesota Gov. @TimPawlenty, now CEO of the @SEIA, joins Scott to break down the critical need for expanded U.S. power generation.

What do I say about my beloved friend Jason Fossum? 💔 Jason recruited me to run for the Senate over breakfast at a Perkins in 2010. He became my mentor, political guru & dear friend. I’ll forever be grateful we passed a $1.5M appropriation for the Jason Fossum Legislative Engagement Center at his beloved Winona State. He was speechless. Jason was political right up to the end—making his way to heaven on the exact day early voting began. He knew there was work to do. ❤️ Thank you for believing in me, buddy. I’ll keep door-knocking, and you keep doing your work from up there. 🇺🇸
