After identifying an area badly littered, signs were erected and enforcement patrols commenced and as a result a fixed penalty notice was served on a gentleman recently for discarding his cigarette butt in the area. @ChelmsCouncil

Community Protection Officers will be on Chelmsford High Street this Friday from 10am to offer advice on environmental issues impacting our communities and to help tackle vehicle littering, they will be handing out FREE car litter bags! #stoplittering
This is a great way to keep the kids entertained over the weekend with some great prizes up for grabs too!

Waste collections to start earlier due to heatwave ☀️From tomorrow, Thurs 11 August, until Monday, 15 Aug, all waste collections will commence an hour earlier than usual. Your bins, boxes, bags and sacks need to be put out by 5:30am on the morning of your collection.
