Waste collections to start earlier due to heatwave ☀️From tomorrow, Thurs 11 August, until Monday, 15 Aug, all waste collections will commence an hour earlier than usual. Your bins, boxes, bags and sacks need to be put out by 5:30am on the morning of your collection.

Meet the @SouthendBC community safety officer who saved a dog from a hot car in Southend as its owner went to the pub.
The window had to be smashed to reach the dog as temperatures pushed 20 degrees.
