The Mississippi Attorney General’s Office announced it found an officer’s use of force was justified in the fatal shooting of 1-year-old Kohen Wiley. How can anyone accept that conclusion when Kohen’s family and the public still have not been allowed to see the body-camera footage?
This is a department whose chief was fired after reports of racial slurs in his text messages, and whose officer faced a complaint alleging a racially offensive remark two days before he shot Kohen. If the footage supports the state’s decision, release it. We will not stop fighting until this family gets the truth. abcnews.com/US/wireStory/mis…

I am exploring this connection further in the sequel to The Man-Not. Gloria Steinem not only worked for the CIA & accepted their money to establish Ms. magazine, but also was a founding member of the National Black Feminist Organization in 1973 w/Wallace & others.
I'm re-reading @DrTJC's The Man-Not, looking for selections to teach, and can't help but chuckle at pg. 79 when Michele Wallace admits, "When I said that Black Macho took out the Black Power movement. The fall may have more to do with the police, CIA, and race in the US. My bad."

We can't forget how Kohen Wiley was taken from his family. He was 1 year old when he was fatally shot by an officer responding to an alleged shoplifting call outside of a Walmart in Senatobia, Mississippi. His mother had to witness her innocent baby, who had barely begun to see this world, be killed. No parent should ever have to carry that image. Kohen deserved to grow up. His family deserves justice, and we will not stop fighting until they get it.

A 9 year old boy drowned Monday 6/15/26
in Henrico County, VA after his mother dropped him off for swim camp at SwimRVA-North, located at 317 North Wilkinson Road. It was King’s first day at swim camp and he was excited to learn how to swim.
His mother, LaTaisha Johnson, is demanding answers as to how her son drowned at a swim camp that was meant to teach children how to swim. Henrico Police are refusing to call it a drowning!!! We can’t let them cover this up.
His name was King Overton! 💔💔💔💔
