We shall grieve, but not as unbelievers, because our faith is firmly rooted in Jesus Christ We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

It baffles me on how @inecnigeria registered more northerners in my local government and my village more than the real indigenous people that comes from this area and you think this election will still be free and fair? Please make this situation make sense

I just remembered that @obyezeks also entered my dm for something similar 😂 In my early 20s taken in by the compliments, I started to post more of my pictures here. And she said; “My dear daughter, are you really sure this is your path? You are so much more than your poses and these kinds of tweets that open a floodgate for silly people to proposition you.” I straightened immediately 😊
A few months ago, my grammar was not particularly great, especially here on X. Then, one beautiful morning, I received a call from Dr. Oby Ezekwesili ( @obyezeks ) that changed that aspect of my life forever. She advised me to go back to Primary 3 and rebuild my foundation in English. She said something profound: Once you fix the foundation, everything else begins to fall into place. I took her advice wholeheartedly. I went back to study Primary 3 Grammar and Comprehension, and that simple decision transformed my command of English. I remain deeply grateful to @obyezeks for that invaluable piece of advice. Its impact on my life has been remarkable. But this experience taught me something much bigger about education. Many of us are struggling today, not because we lack intelligence, but because we are building on weak educational foundations. We keep trying to fix problems at the top when the real problems are at the bottom. Sometimes, the greatest form of progress is having the humility to go back to the basics and rebuild properly. You cannot build excellence on a foundation you have refused to repair.

2018. Prof. Utomi was invited to Roar hub, the tech centre of UNN and I was asked to do a leisurely-interview with him and the VC. Before he went back to Lagos, my students’ organisation asked(begged) him to sponsor our upcoming event. He promised to do so. I disturbed his PA until they fulfilled the promise later that week. It really helped us properly organise the events that followed. We need more ideologues with money!

Channels TV reported that Peter Obi rehabilitated over 200 secondary schools and gave each an initial grant of N10 million. That was the first step to what later translated to Anambra becoming number one in education in the whole of Nigeria during Peter Obi's time in office. When APC says that he didn't build any school, show them this. Vote this man. The evidence that he is a good man is everywhere.

INEC: There Is No Room For Incompetence In Managing Voter Systems — Ijeh Once again, we are seeing a display of sheer incompetence in an area that directly affects the lives of Nigerians and leaves no room for error. On the eve of an election, we cannot be hearing that INEC staff were responsible for compromising the voter register without seeing any consequences. Why is the public the one having to draw attention to these issues? If you cannot manage something as critical as the voter system, you have no business being at INEC. See what men are discussing on the Internet these days. 😁😁😁 Well, it's a curiously "boring" campaign season for some, and time has to be passed/killed anyhow. Only one candidate is campaigning, and it is that camp that's providing all the hay/fodder for social media discourse. Tomorrow's topic might be about how Obi's shirt is missing a button, or about how Kwankwaso's famous red cap is showing a frayed hem! 😁
In all honesty, the political relationship between Rabiu Kwankwaso and Peter Obi should be viewed as that of political colleagues, not a principal and a subordinate. If we are assessing political experience, Sen. Kwankwaso arguably has a much longer and more distinguished political résumé than Peter Obi. His decision to accept a deputy position under Obi should be seen as an expression of political humility. Long before Peter Obi became a figure in national politics, Kwankwaso had already served as Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives. He went on to serve two terms as Governor of Kano State, Nigeria’s most populous and politically influential state, and as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Peter Obi, by contrast, is only a former Governor of Anambra State.

INEC should submit their voter register to an independent forensic investigation. The news coming out from Edo state needs a forensic investigation. ~~ Dr Moses Paul, the Leader of Obidient Movement made this demand.

IMO STATE: OUR CONVERSATIONS AND ENGAGEMENT WITH THE PEOPLE CONTINUE Our conversations and engagement with the people continued yesterday, 31st October 2026, as we journeyed from Yenagoa to Owerri, Imo State, for another edition of our ongoing town hall meeting series. Upon arrival, I began with a visit to one of the markets in Owerri, where I interacted with traders, buyers and other residents. Their stories and experiences offered yet another sobering reminder of how difficult life has become for ordinary Nigerians under the harsh economic policies of this administration. In my remarks at the town hall meeting, I reminded the good people of Imo State that, after more than three years in office, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has not considered it necessary to spend even one night in Imo State, despite spending over 260 days abroad. Meanwhile, his administration has accumulated enormous debts without delivering commensurate improvements in the lives of Nigerians. Our country is now ranked among the hungriest nations in the world, with over 140 million people living in multidimensional poverty. To compound this crisis, Nigeria remains one of the most terrorised countries in the world, while approximately 18 million children are out of school. I reassured the people of Imo State that all hope is not lost. Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and I are committed to securing and uniting our country, making massive investments in critical sectors such as health and education, and lifting millions of Nigerians out of poverty. Among the leading contenders, we believe we possess the experience, competence, capacity, commitment and readiness required to undertake the difficult but necessary task of turning Nigeria around. During the interactive session, questions were also raised about the protection of our votes. I encouraged our people to come out in their numbers, exercise their democratic rights and, more importantly, remain vigilant and stay with their votes until the final results are declared. I sincerely thank our teeming supporters, party candidates, party members, organisers and, most importantly, the good people of Imo State for their warmth, enthusiasm and overwhelming support. The journey to a new Nigeria is a collective responsibility. Together, we can build a country that works for everyone. A New Nigeria is POssible, and Nigeria will be OK! -PO

It is crystal clear that Arewa people are tired of this administration. I can confidently tell you that 90% of us will not vote for Tinubu. With a good plan and strategy, I swear the Obi/Kwankwaso ticket would win the election before 10am. Arewa is simply looking for a way out of insecurity and poverty.

Fellow young Nigerians and well-meaning citizens, Let us reject disinformation meant to weaken our mobilisation or turn us against the electoral process. Not everyone at INEC is opposed to a free and fair election. We must not make the Commission an enemy or direct harm toward its officials. Capable professionals, the party, and the Presidential Campaign Council are already engaging INEC constructively. Trust the leadership handling these matters. We must also stay alert. Some interests within the APC government appear eager to force unnecessary ICT procurements on the Commission and may use public pressure for that purpose. Do not fall into that trap. Let those best placed to handle institutional engagement do so, while we focus on the decisive work of the people. The Osun elections have been an eye-opener: the more voters we bring out, the harder it becomes for anyone to rig the outcome. Nearly 50 million undecided voters remain open to persuasion. Take our message to every community, campus, and market where our opponents struggle to reach. Present our candidate, promote the party’s logo, and bring out new voters who have never participated before. Young Nigerians, we especially urge you to present yourselves to be polling agents and Vanguards at all levels. Your presence at the polling units is one of the strongest protections of the people’s will. To INEC, we say: Nigeria needs free, fair, and credible elections. We encourage you to succeed in that duty and stand ready to support every effort that strengthens the integrity of the process. Stay focused. Organize. Mobilize. Vote and protect your votes like your life depends on it. Surely, our lives depend on it. High turnout and disciplined participation remain our strongest path to victory. Together, we will secure the future Nigeria deserves. Signed, Mallam Ibrahim Hussain Abdulkarim Director-General National Campaign Council Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) #VoteNDC #NigeriaWillBeOK

#NigeriaDecides2027: "The whole thing INEC is doing, It's only somebody who's not thinking enough who would give INEC credit... The leadership has failed, in my view." Sam Amadi says INEC must take decisive action against those responsible for voter register errors to restore public confidence.

2027 Election Already Rigged, INEC Must Act Now to Clean Up Voters Register – journalist Seun Okinbaloye Sounds Alarm Nigerian journalist and Channels Television anchor, Seun Okinbaloye, has raised concerns over the credibility of the 2027 general election, alleging that the process of rigging the election has already begun. Speaking during the closing segment of Politics Today, Okinbaloye warned that election manipulation does not necessarily begin on election day, stressing that urgent action must be taken to address alleged irregularities surrounding the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) voters’ register. In his parting remarks, the journalist said: “This is my parting word tonight, the election is usually not rigged on election day, don’t get it wrong. And whatever you may be, jumping around all of the town halls and the political podiums and platforms, the rigging of the election has in fact begun very few months ago and is still much on course. “If you don’t take action and speak up now, forget it, 2027 election is already rigged and this is time to clean it up and make sure that it doesn’t happen. “That’s how we close the program tonight everyone and thanks for watching, I’m Seun Okinbaloye, God bless Nigeria.” His remarks have drawn attention to the need for transparency and urgent scrutiny of the electoral process ahead of the 2027 general election.
