I feel I should qualify the point I made about our view at Selhurst on Sunday. It wasn’t meant to grief Palace. They are made to have the tv gantry which makes it narrow and claustrophobic. To those of you who’ve mentioned the away end at SJP, you also have my sympathy.
I asked my kids what they thought of Selhurst Park. They had no idea, because they didn’t see it. How the fuck is this allowed?

En 1997, mientras el britpop se ahogaba en su propia arrogancia, un hombre de Wigan escribió una melodía que sonaba a libertad absoluta. No era un himno de rabia, sino un susurro de gratitud que terminaría definiendo a toda una generación...
🔵 Everton’s PSR breach in 2021/22
£19.5m over the PSR limit
Docked 10 points reduced to 6 points on appeal
🔴 Manchester United 2021/22
£149.7m over the PSR limit
- Allowed £35m in exceptional costs for the INEOS/Sir Jim Ratcliffe share sale
- Allowed to claim an exceptional £40m Covid allowance that no other club could claim, which was the exact amount they needed to stay under the £105m PSR loss limit 🤔
Two different sets of rules….
🚨 𝐍𝐄𝐖: Emirati officials have warned the UK government that the severity of ruling on Man City could undermine their appetite for future grand-scale UK commitments, and consider the Premier League’s actions to have an influence on the bilateral state relationship.
UK government officials are equally frustrated by the conduct of UAE counterparts and believe some in the Gulf nation must have been aware of the extent of Man City's wrongdoing, even while insisting there was nothing untoward.

I still respect Man City for what they’ve done
Why can Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal spend what they want to maintain their place but others can’t?
This wouldn’t be allowed in any other business - if you’re rich enough, you should be able to invest and spend your wealth to get better
The wealth of Man City and Newcastle strike fear into the established elite and right now, we’re seeing the repercussions of that
What a massive serial 17th place cunt. Propped up by arbitrary rules to keep you safe.
Had Villa not been going for a European trophy, you’d be in the Championship now. And despite your online lack of awareness, I think even you know that.

Richard Masters Out now
Replying to @aaj1969
Because they pushed through rules designed to stop anybody else challenging their elite position at the top of the food chain. That’s why.
The Premier League is 100% corrupt and Richard Masters must go. I genuinely have no idea how this clown is still in a job.
The rules should be the same for every club in the @PremierLeague. They cannot change to suit an agenda.
Well done to the @EFC_FanAdvisory 👏
Enclosed is the full #EFC FAB Statement by Co-Chairs Joanne Davies and Fawad Munir
“Everton supporters deserve fairness, transparency, and respect. The Premier League and the Football Association must explain how these decisions can be considered proportionate or equitable.’’

How can Richard Masters claim to uphold PSR when Everton & Forest were docked pts, yet Chelsea avoid the same fate after 74 cases & systemic off-book agent payments helped hoard elite talent??
That is literally SPORTING ADVANTAGE!
That's not regulation—it's double standards.

I think more fans are realising - the same few @premierleague clubs have got together and created a mini super league of power, wealth and self-preservation.
Keep the wealth for themselves, bend and make the rules for their own benefit. Kill off the competition.
I’m guessing the gummy twat won’t answer. #handsomeinfantino
Dear Mr Masters,@premierleague ,
Please explain how @SpursOfficial can spend £250m(£350m with Gakpo)on players having finished 15th last 2yrs,not qualified for Europe & have DEBTS of £1bn?
Why do @NUFC @AVFCOfficial(ZERO DEBT) have to sell best players?
Yours

"It’s some result for them if you consider the scale of offending – financial chicanery, dodgy deals, cheating, whatever you wish to call it – that was brought before the Football Association without, ultimately, leading to anything more than a £10million fine."
Corruption at its very finest.
Listen carefully and perhaps you can hear the sound of wine glasses being clinked in celebration in Chelsea’s boardroom.
It’s some result for them if you consider the scale of offending – financial chicanery, dodgy deals, cheating, whatever you wish to call it – that was brought before the Football Association without, ultimately, leading to anything more than a £10million fine.
There will be no points deduction, in other words, for the secret payments in the Roman Abramovich era that, rather awkwardly, helped to put Chelsea into such a position that £10m is the kind of money inside Stamford Bridge to be shrugged at. Because, as we all know, if there is one way to punish a £2.5billion behemoth such as Chelsea, it is to fine them the equivalent of what they might pay one first-team player in wages per season.
It is hard to figure out how the appeals board could overturn the verdict of the independent regulatory commission, namely that Abramovich’s Chelsea had sought, and gained, a sporting advantage.
Because, well, just think about it for a second. What other reason was there if not to get an advantage? Chelsea, lest it be forgotten, won three Premier League titles and their first Champions League during the relevant period.
We can safely assume that Manchester City, facing 115 charges relating to alleged financial breaches between 2009 and 2018, will have been taking a keen interest in what has happened to Chelsea and, in particular, the absence of any sporting sanctions.
