To all Class 1 parents and carers! Please remember to apply sun cream to your child BEFORE they come to school this week. We are trying to keep them out of the hot sun as much as we can but they will need to go out sometimes during the day! @windmillprimary

Class 2 have been enjoying some spontaneous archaeology this week. Using brushes and digging tools to see what they can dig up. They were so pleased with their amazing finds in the EYFS wildlife area!

Day 1: talk from our year 6 girls about Ghana, a look (and dress up!) In traditional Ghanaian clothes, Ghanaian music and dancing. Next up... jewellery making!
@Class2Windmill @Class1Windmill children loved day 1 of 'Ghana week'. 10 of our reception children's families originate from Ghana so it has been wonderful to learn and embrace their culture today!
Retweeted Windmill Sports (@windmillsports): What a great afternoon talking to @Class1Windmill and @class2windmill about healthy lifestyles #choices @windmillprimary

@Class2Windmill @Class1Windmill 👇 message below. Put names in hats and on suncream. We suggest putting sun cream on in the morning and then children can re-apply it THEMSELVES at lunchtime. Why not practise them doing sun cream by themselves this weekend??
@Class2Windmill @Class1Windmill remember EYFS children are outside a lot... with the impending beautiful weather don't forget to send a hat and sun cream with your child.
If your child has been offered 'agility, balance and coordination club' and cannot attend, please let us know as we have other children who would like to attend.
