Ed Milband on Sky news defending his actions in 2013 over the Syria intervention. I remember it reported at the time he reneged on a promise to @David_Cameron Many of the troubles we face today can be traced back to this point. theguardian.com/world/2013/a…

Disappointed that @Conservatives members will not have a say on the new leader. Bodes I’ll for the future but that will be for @RishiSunak and his team to deal with. They knew full well members were of a different opinion.

A conversation with a wine producer in France this weekend had him state they like our PM more and more. This was unprompted and whilst I am P’d off about party’s I think there is more heat than light being discussed. That is why I still #BackBoris

What if Putin is waiting for any excuse to launch against #nato with his best material? How else does one explain perceived poor performance in #Ukraine️ ? #NATOINUKRAINENOW are gambling and he needs a way out of this saving face. Fact is many #Russians support.

There are too few opportunities for #truckers to take the sort of pride in their vehicle that Mike does with his. Once a common sight on the road this custom Scania has had £1000’s spent. #HGVDriverShortage

Can anyone identify this attractive insect for me. So far I am referring to it as the microchip. @RyanClarkNature

I feel very honoured to have been re-elected to @BucksCouncil for the Ivinghoe ward. Along with my two colleagues we will work to represent residents priorities.

#Labour have been fighting hard this election. Despite a split many on the left are standing as independent they have put a lot of effort in to areas not normally contested. I cant help but feel it was more about saving @Keir_Starmer This must have drained reserves significantly.
Apparently my smart meter is now smart again after changing supplier 2 years ago. Whoever was responsible for not allowing smart meters to be shared should be sacked for incompetence. Wasn’t it @Ed_Miliband ?

Apparently I am supposed to smile when delivering #Conservatives #LocalElections2021 leaflets. So I smiled in the second picture.

Grateful for the efforts & leadership shown by Conservative Cllrs @CllrAngelaMacp @CllrPoll @WarrenWhyteUK @CllrPaulIrwin @CllrSteveBowles in collaboration with Parish Councils to #StopHS2 & protect the #environment.
Conservatives in #Buckinghamshire especially here in #Bernwood have led the way in coordinating the cross-party efforts to oppose #HS2. The leadership of our MPs @RobBAylesbury & @gregsmith_uk & Council leaders @MATatBucks has been crucial in the fight.

It’s been quite a journey but for breaking news this is the only place to be.

With all that’s going on at least @vonderleyen has lovely hair.
I have held back from a New Year prediction after I said 2020 will be a year of big changes. However, I predict 2021 will be a year of big changes.

I just don’t think that schools should go back yet. It’s clear transmissions are rising among the pupils and staff will be at risk. Maybe, just maybe, we should consider rerunning the whole academic year? theguardian.com/education/20…
