#DayoftheDead - In Etruscan mythology, Charun was known as the "Demon of Death" who guarded the entrance to the underworld. He is characterised by a heavy hammer, a hooked nose and pointed ears. He would strike the deceased on the head with his hammer to ensure they were truly dead.

Samhain brings endings, darkness, thinning veils, and the crone of winter. Tonight these woods are full of mist, spirits and shadows, we shall see what the night brings.

Late Night Clyde Caldwell 🌙
Nobody painted a beautiful woman in the middle of an impossible adventure quite like Clyde Caldwell. And nobody made you want to climb right into the painting faster.
Tonight’s beauty is Llana of Gathol.
A Martian princess, a sky full of warships, and just enough clothing to keep the censors guessing.
Pure Edgar Rice Burroughs, with that unmistakable Caldwell magic.
Clyde didn’t just illustrate fantasy worlds. He made you wish they were real.
Sweet dreams, everyone.
